Lost In Shadows
...Love has always been a question mark! They say it's heartless, deceptive, and only uses us....
...Yet no one asks why! No one fights for this love, their love. Everyone kills, but no one fights for love?...
...Everyone fights for wealth, but no one for honesty, family, or a partner....
...Is today's life worth what it offers?...
...Humans, vampires, and gods alike stopped believing in love....
...But before love vanished, it left a message:...
...> If you love, then love. If you hate, then hate. But never blame those who took love from you. <...
...***...
...' Love is blind ', they say....
...Not everyone knew where this statement came from, but those who knew the reason preferred to forget it again....
.........
Rose was the last known goddess of love to be seen.
It was a dark, love-filled evening. The gods met at the red crescent moon. This is considered a symbol of love,
Honesty and wisdom.
The crescent moon night was known as the night of desire for love. For without love there would be no embarrassment, no hate, no happiness, no sorrow, no hope, no madness, and others.
There were many more feelings and other gods who could not survive without love.
The gods didn't know what to do that evening. But suddenly, Jealousy suggested they play hide-and-seek.
Everyone agreed and decided that Madness had to search, and the others had to hide.
After some time, he found all the gods.
Only love remained hidden; no one knew how it could be, even though the entire shadow forest had been searched.
Love itself, despite being asked to come out, remained stubborn, as she always is.
Madness refused to give in, so he persisted. The God of Shadows saw Rose, the goddess of love. He loved her and didn't want Madness to find her, for he knew they loved each other.
Madness had known Rose for a long time and loved her so long; he wanted her for himself, not to let Madness have her.
So Shadow had made the thorns of the roses, in which Rose was hiding, cling more tightly to her.
The roses have hidden their pink hair in white roses that glow red in the moonlight
Shadow's thoughts: >> No one should find you! You are my light ☆, I'm your shadow. No one should touch your soft hands, see your loving smile, and look at your sparkling golden eyes. No one but me! <<
*she in His Memoires*
He only wants her... but Madness hast found her.
Shadow's eyes flashed red with the rage inside him.
Rose was already feeling uneasy in the thorns of the roses that entwined her. Madness tried to pull Rose out of the bush. He was worried too, but he had to get her out. She called his name; "Tony, I'm scared," she whispered softly.
>>Something's wrong, something must have happened or someone must have done something, but who would do something like this to her? << , thought Madness (Tony) to himself.
Tony was careful, he made sure nothing would happen... or at least he tried.
But then a soft, painful gasp escaped her.
Now he saw his love staring into the void, her eyes closed and bloody with tears.
*she now*
>> No... What have I done? It must be my fault. She can't see anything. <<
His thoughts were in turmoil, but everyone now realized that the love was blind, and that it would be forever.
Because of the thorns in the Shadow Forest, there is no cure for the poison in the White Roses of Death.
The poison isn't life-threatening for her, but it leaves scars. Eyes can't heal because of the scar.
Tony couldn't do anything; he felt helpless and powerless to change anything.
>> I hurt her, and now what?! What am I supposed to do now? <<
" Rose... ", he began to speak, wanting to apologize, to beg her for forgiveness, but she vanished.
No one saw her disappear, because just a second before, she was still there.
You could hear the echo of her cries and feel her pain.
All humans, vampires, and gods are connected to her, so they sensed that something was wrong.
Something was missing, something was broken. Not from the outside, but within all of us.
...ΩΩΩ...
...Years passed, then decades, and then centuries....
Madness was consumed by guilt, unaware of the truth. The memories resurfaced each time, tormenting him.
He was tormented again and again. Over time, he lost more and more of his senses, his consciousness, and soon he no longer knew who he was.
When the Goddess of Love vanished, humanity gradually lost the capacity for love, and consequently, so did others, for without love, their very being ceased to exist.
The gods' powers were weakened, and the vampires had gained power. The gods had fallen, and Madness had become a subject of King Laywen.
Tony had lost faith in everyone and everything and had become a walking death.
"Without love, you are nothing," the new king declared.
Such simple words, yet so witty and true.
