CHAPTER THREE: CHILDISH

I spend the rest of my night with them since they let me sleep there last night. Today,I was watching Tacio's father managing their farm. He even teached me the proper and different ways to plant crops.

Hernando was the name of Tacio's father but he insists that i should just call him "Mang Nando" because that's how their neighbors call him and it's too formal if i call him by his name.

As the night goes by, Tacio and I decided to tell his father that the carriage wasn't the one who nearly hit me but a vehicle does.

"Hija,maybe you hit your head hard that's why you forgot what happened?" Anastacio's father asked me. confusion and curiosity was written all over his place.

I was about to tell him that i was from the future but then Tacio stopped me so i just smiled awkwardly and said "yeah..maybe i hit my head too hard when i fall". His father must've think that i had an amnesia now.

I know i was born here but how am i gonna find my home? my parents? In the first place, i just came here because this was also Dylan's place but how am i gonna find my house if i have no clue which part of this province was it located.

"You can stay here while searching for your parents.." Mang Nando said that made me snap back to myself..

"Ah..Thank you for letting me stay here" I said and Mang Nando just gaved me a warm smile.

Tacio suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the house. My gaze caught his father looking at us with that ayiieee-how cute-look on his face. He must be shipping me with his son now.

I saw the Moon and the stars and the cold breeze that touches my skin, it made me feel so relaxed and calm.

I haven't experienced living in a province since i grew up in Urban area where it was surrounded by vehicles,large buildings and huge shopping malls and a dirty air from factories.

"I didn't know you were this childish" Tacio jokingly said before smiling.

"Tss... whatever" i said and just enjoy the company of the moon and stars.

" Why does it looked like you doesn't have a problem at all?" He asked. I looked at him as our eyes met. This time,his face is serious.

I smiled and asked him "What do you mean?"

"Think of it, you're in this unknown era but you where living in the year 2020. Are you really sure you're from the future? Or are just pulling pranks on me?" He said seriously as he waits for my answer.

"it's because i never had a chance to experience this kind of life and freedom and it just feels nice.." a moment of silence gets in between us after i answered his question.

I just lay my back on this swing under this huge mango tree and stares at the sky as i think of what happened. up until now, everything won't sink in to me.

"So how do you plan on finding your parents?" He said,breaking the silence.

"I don't know. I trust God and I know he'll find a way for me" I said smiling then he suddenly stands up. "I see..." He said looking far away.

He was about to walk away but i saw a red ant on his shirt.

"Wait! Tacio stop!" I said then he tilt his head,looking at me. "Why?" He asked curiously.

"There's a red ant on your shirt Tacio" i said and burst out laughing after i saw his expression.

"WHERE?! TAKE IT OFF NOOOWWW!!" He said as he screams and tries to shake off the red ant.

I can't help but burts out into laughter while witnessing his hilarious reaction.

"LIA!!" He shouted with an irritated voice which made me comes back to my senses.

His voice sounds manly that time. I Flicked the Red ant on his shirts that made him shiver.

"It was just a red ant" i said as he looked at me "You're really a gay" i said then chuckles.

I suddenly felt nervous when i saw his father at the door, watching us. Did he heard what i said? Oh my— did i spilled out the beans?

"Mang Nando!" I said then runs towards his direction with a smiled.

I left tacio who's busy shaking his shirt.

"I know my son wasn't straight...i can feel it" Mang Nando said that got me surprised.

"You accept him?" I asked

"I accept him from who he was.." Mang Nando said and smiled while watching Tacio.

"I see but i must admit Tacio is quite handsome" Mang Tacio looked at me the same looked as earlier when tacio pulled me. I just chuckled.

"I agree. Do you know that He's popular with girls here?" Mang Nando said then shakes his head while smiling

"Your son is quite charismatic" I said then chuckled softly.

"Hija,Go call Tacio dinner is ready, let's eat" I nodded and goes towards Tacio's direction.

I couldn't help but feel a little jealous. My dad was a very busy person so i rarely see him and i grew up with my mom. I never felt a love of a father. not at all.

I layed beside Tacio who's laying down on the swing while staring at the stars.

"Lia!!" He suddenly turned ro my direction and seemed so surprised.

"What?" I asked him.

"Can you please sit properly? I can already see your underwear from underneath your skirt" He said shyly. I just chuckled

"So? What's the problem with that?" I asked him.

"I haven't even answered your question yesterday if i was gay" He said

oh yeah..He didn't answer he just said..

"WHAT?! YOU'RE SO NOISY!! if my father heard you, he'll kill me!"

A mischievous smile forms in my lips as i look at him "So what you're trying to say is?" I asked him.

"What Im trying to say is can you at least act like a proper lady?" He said before looking away.

Really...this man..

I quickly stand up, looking at him with a squint eyes then walks away from him while talking "Your father said that dinner is ready, let's go." I said

"Childish" i heard him whispered then chuckled that made me more annoyed.

I entered the house, not talking or making eye contact with him.
