Tomorrow?

I somehow dragged myself inside, took a shower then wore some comfortable clothes. I flopped on the bed with my phone, I don't have even a bit of energy left...now I have to make dinner... I guess I will just skip dinner. I opened my phone unsure what to do now, I don't wanna sleep but I don't have the energy to stay awake, at least tomorrow is Sunday so I can just sleep whole day. Just then my phone rang, startled I dropped on my face, what a day. I picked up the phone and saw that I had already received the call by mistake. I sighed and said, "Hello?" Then an extra loud voice said, "heyyyyyyyyyyy, bro~" I looked at the caller name "Idiot 1" I cursed under my breath regretting picking up the call. She said teasingly, "I can hear you, you know" I replied mockingly, "Yeah yeah, text me instead, you know I don't talk in phone call." she said," Same as ever! Wait a sec..." Saying that she instantly hung up like she knew it. I muttered "If she knew it then why call just text instead..."

A text popped up on my phone, " Sup"

I replied, " Nothing, sis. Why did you call?"

She replied instantly like in 0.01 second, I wonder how does she types so fast? Is her phone's screen ok? I sighed and saw her reply " Can't I call my lil bro?" I scoffed " How dramatic! Obviously she had a reason no way she will call me without any reason."

I texted her, " Just tell me the reason."

another instant reply, " Okey donkey, you know I wanna talk to you about something."

I had to read it twice to confirm that I read it right, Talk to me? That's new.

I replied to her " What does my monkey wants to talk about?"

She replied," You donkey -_- and not in text, Come to the usual cafe after classes,ok?"

I sighed and typed," Aye Aye Captain monkey. But you are paying."

She replied a little slowly this time, " No way, let's meet up at your house then 😅"

I replied mockingly, " I knew it, you monkey."

she replied, " Awww… My donkey is getting smart now"

I replied lazily," I was always smart, you were too dumb to realize. Whatever, See ya tomorrow."

She replied after a while," yes yes, cya."

I sighed and put my phone down. I covered my eyes thinking about my day, that one scene still lingering in my mind... I know you will never like me like you like her... You will never look at me like that....

I opened my eyes and said blankly while staring at the ceiling, " Perhaps I should move on..." biting my lips slightly as tears willed up in my eyes. I wiped my tears and turned off the lights... I just want peace at this moment... Nothing else... Darkness filled the room, my eyes shut tightly... But sleep didn't come.
