Chapter 3

Khem rushed to Soobin's studio, heart racing. Soobin stood amidst canvases, eyes red, a painting of their moments together ripped apart. "You didn't trust me," Soobin whispered.

Khem froze. Then, footsteps echoed – Alex entered, holding a sketchbook. "I showed him your work," Alex said, backing off. Soobin turned to Khem, "You thought I'd move on?"

Khem dropped to his knees, "I was wrong." Soobin pulled him up, "Prove it." Khem pulled out a ticket – a one-way to Florence. "I'm here, for art and you."

Soobin's face crumbled; Khem kissed him, sealing their promise. They'd make distance work, together.

But as they planned, Soobin's visa got rejected due to a mix-up. Khem's concert bookings clashed with Soobin's Florence residency. 💜

Khem's visa drama and Soobin's residency clash seemed like the final hurdle. But fate had another card. Soobin's estranged father, the famous artist, offered a deal: he'd pull strings to fix Soobin's visa if Soobin agreed to a joint exhibition – a chance to reconcile through art.

Soobin hesitated; Khem saw an opportunity. "Let's do it," he said, "reclaim your story." Soobin agreed, but on one condition – Khem creates a song about their love for the exhibition.

Khem composed a raw, emotional piece. But hours before the exhibition, Soobin's father pulled out, citing "creative differences." The venue was in chaos. Soobin was on the verge of collapse.

Then, Khem stepped up, literally. He grabbed a guitar and started playing their song on the empty venue's steps. People gathered; Soobin joined in, painting live. The impromptu show stole the show – their love, raw and real.

The joint exhibition turned into a massive hit, but it was Khem's surprise – he'd bought the venue, ensuring they'd showcase their art, father's approval be damned. 💜

The exhibition's success sparked a whirlwind of opportunities. Khem's music career took off, and Soobin's art got international attention. But amidst the chaos, they lost themselves. Khem's touring schedule clashed with Soobin's art residencies; trust faked cracks.

One night, Khem's manager pushed a lucrative deal – a world tour, but it meant leaving Soobin in Florence for months. Khem hesitated, knowing Soobin's big art show was coming up. Soobin, sensing Khem's dilemma, pushed him to go. "Chase your dream," he said, smiling through pain.

Khem left; Soobin threw himself into art. The distance morphed into misunderstandings. Khem's messages went unanswered; Soobin's art turned darker. A tabloid leaked Khem's flirtatious pic with a fan – Soobin's trust shattered.

Khem rushed back, but Soobin was done. "We lost us in the noise," he whispered. Khem begged for a second chance; Soobin shook his head, "I'm tired of chasing shadows." 💔

Khem's tour became a blur; his music echoed Soobin's absence. In Florence, Soobin poured emotions into art, his paintings selling like hotcakes. A new friend, Akira – a Japanese photographer – captured Soobin's world, becoming his confidant.

Akira's lens saw Soobin's pain; they'd talk nights, exploring art and heartbreak. Khem, back in Bangkok, wrote songs about lost love; his fans felt the ache. He started sketching again, Soobin's face haunting his pages.

Months passed. Soobin's art got a Paris exhibition; Akira flew in to support him. Khem saw the promo online and crashed the show. There, amidst Soobin's breathtaking art, Khem and Soobin locked eyes – the spark still raw.

Akira sensed the tension; he approached Khem. "You still love him." Khem nodded; Akira smiled cryptically, "Maybe it's not over." 💜

While crossing the Seine, Soobin collided with Khem. Apologies turned to shock – they stood frozen, water rippling below. Khem's hands instinctively steadied Soobin. "It's been too long," he whispered.

Soobin's heart thumped, "What are you doing here?" Khem smiled wistfully, "I was about to ask you the same." Akira appeared, capturing the moment. "I’ll leave you two," he said, vanishing into the crowd.

Khem's grip on Soobin's arms lingered. "I saw your exhibition," he said, voice low. "It’s... raw," Soobin replied, stepping back. Khem's eyes dropped, "Like my songs."

Night was falling. Khem pulled out a ticket, "Tonight, I play at a secret venue. Come?" 💜
