THREE: TRAFFICKED

"No... Please. Spare him. He's just a naive child". His mother forced the words out of her mouth. Her son was going to be beaten up just like her. He might have acted older than his age but he was still a child. The man gestured to his minions to beat the little child.

"NOOOO". The woman cried as she watched her child get beaten and kicked.

Dust covered his fearful face. His eyes felt slightly blurry from the blood that had gotten into his eyes.

"You want to save your son?" The man squatted next to the battered child. He tightened his grip on the child's chin making him stare at his mother. "It's your turn to watch your mother, kiddo". The man's scar across his left eye shrunk as he smirked wickedly.

"Argh". The mother groaned while being kicked in the tummy. "M...mo...mma". The child managed to speak but the man's tight grip made his eyes fixed on his mother. Why did they have to suffer? They hadn't done anything wrong, had they? He coughed out a lump of blood as his body felt weak and heavy.

His mother had done her best to provide for him and he had also been there for her when she didn't do things right, like looking after herself. The heavens were cruel on them right? Or was this a divine punishment for the sins they had committed? No one could step in the hell out of fear that they'd face the same consequences.

"You sure have a pretty face like this slut. You really must be worth something". The man smirked as he hit his palm against the boy's neck knocking him out. "Mo..m". His ears rang loudly as he struggled to speak before blacking out. He managed to see his mother's helplessness, pain and fear written all over her face.

Her voice cracked as she screamed out for him. "Noooooo. My baby". The woman screamed. The man nonchalantly threw the child into one of the minions hands and turned to leave without throwing a second glance at the wailing mother that had crawled up to him and clung to his leg. He fiercely yanked his leg off making her lose her balance and hit her head hard on the floor.

"P...lease no. So...meone stop them. Give me back m...y child". She slowly, painfully, helplessly crawled behind the group that laughed while watching her drag her injured body on the dust. Her once calm voice filled with trouble as she yelled. Hoping her son would walk up and run to her. Hoping everything was just a dream.

"Oh you're awake?". One of the minions leaned closer when she noticed the boy slowly open his eyes. Without replying to her questions he slowly sat up and looked around with every part of his body stinging with pain. He didn't know where he was but he noticed he wasn't the only one here. There were other children either fully awake or still unconscious and they were all boys.

Some were already weak from crying their eyes out. Why were they here? Where were these people taking them to? He calmly stared at his bound feet with his thoughts lost thinking of his mother. Was she doing okay now? Could someone please hug her tightly and assure her that he'll be back even if it takes a thousand years. He'll come back for her.

CRASH! A loud crashing was heard outside the dimmed room that they stayed then BANG. Someone barged into the room frightening the wit out of the children. "Ahhhh". The children screamed in fear.

"SILENCE". The man that barged in slapped the nearest child across the face, slamming his head hard against the wall of the room. The room suddenly became quiet as the children stared at the man in terror.

"Jace. Take it easy. You'll hurt the goods". A low cold and calm voice echoed making everyone around feel a cold chill down their spine. A man with a scar across his left eye puffed out the smoke then stepped into the light.

"Boss". Jace turned around to see his boss. "Y...ou". The little white haired kid narrowed his eyes dangerously and gritted his teeth tightly. It was the lender, the man that separated him from his mother. The lender slowly turned his head towards the child where he felt a sudden bloodlust. Then he spotted him. He spotted the child that wanted him dead so badly.
