I peeled open my eyes. I saw myself on the floor. I think I fell off the bed as usual. Maybe I have to start sleeping with someone so I won’t keep rolling off.

I looked at Trevor’s bed. He wasn’t there. Then the thought of last night came flooding back. We came back a little bit late. Thank God Mom didn’t catch me.

The door burst open. Charlotte walked in wearing a mini skirt, singlet, and jacket. Wow. She really dresses crazy.

"Hi," I smiled.

"Hey," she said, sitting on my bed.

"You came for me or Trevor?" I asked.

"Of course you. David is having a pool party. I came to invite you. I know big-head Trevor won’t go," she said, licking her lollipop.

A smile plastered on my face. I have a friend. Suddenly my door opened. Mom stood there.

"What’s going on?" Mom said, sizing Charlotte up and down.

"Sorry, can I speak to my daughter for a sec?" Mom asked.

"Yeah sure," Charlotte said and lay on my bed. She’s really crazy. Mom and I went into my bathroom and she closed the door.

"Lizzy, when did you start following a slut or even having friends?" Mom asked, surprised.

"Mom, don’t call her that. I just made a new friend," I replied.

"A friend you call her that?"

"Mom, you made me not to have friends. Now I’m trying to make some," I shouted.

"I see. She’s taught you how to talk back at your mom. You know what? I don’t wanna see you with that girl again," Mom said angrily.

"Mom, you can’t stop me from having friends," I said. Fortunately, a knock came on the bathroom door. Mom opened it.

"Is everything okay? I heard you guys yelling," Charlotte asked. Mom ignored her.

"We’ll have this conversation later, Lizzy," she said and left.

"Are you alright?" Charlotte asked.

"Yeah," I smiled.

"Go prepare. Let’s head to the party," Charlotte said. She smacked my ass. I really have a crazy friend.

We arrived at this big mansion. We went to the backyard. It was really a pool party, even though it’s still winter. They’re still partying. The girls were all wearing bra and panties.

"Let’s go change. Can you swim ?" Charlotte asked Change? I can’t change. I’m shy. I never wear that in front of anyone.

"Yeah I can. My mom taught me when I was six," I told her as we left to change.

After we changed, we came back outside. The weather wasn’t that cold, but I felt very uncomfortable in this outfit. Charlotte and I went towards David and Trevor.

"Hi," I said, sitting close to Trevor.

"Babe, let’s go swimming," Charlotte told David.

"You and Elizabeth can go ahead. Trevor and I will join," David replied.

"Sure."

"Elizabeth, shall we?" she asked.

"Yeah," I smiled. We both jumped into the water, splashing water on Trevor and David. We both laughed. We went inside the water, took pictures and selfies.

Later that day, Charlotte helped me open some social media apps. I just posted one of our pictures together an hour ago and I’m already having thirty likes and twenty comments. Wow! It’s really nice. It’s good to have friends.

I just finished taking my bath. I came out and saw Trevor on his bed watching a movie from his laptop. I angrily went to my bed, took my phone, entered my Netflix account. I pressed _Spellbound_ — it’s a cartoon. I put it at the highest volume, but still he didn’t even care. I guess it was an action movie.

I stood up from my bed, went to his, and lay on it.

"What?" he asked.

"I wanna join you," I replied.

"You know you love disturbing me," he said

"Whatever," I replied.

"Why action movie?" I asked as I covered myself up with his blanket.

"If you won’t watch, go back to your bed," he said.

"Fine, it’s not even a big deal," I hissed. I found out later the name of the movie was _Bad Boys: Ride or Die_.
