The scenario was finally over, but Kim Dokja was pushing himself too hard again.

"What is wrong with you?" Dokja asked, trying to laugh.

"If you are mad about how I fought the monster, it was the fastest way to win."

"The fastest way?" Joonghyuk said, his voice very low and scary. "You mean throwing your life away?"

"It was a calculated plan! I did not die this time."

"Because *he* helped you," Joonghyuk growled, stepping very close to Dokja.

Dokja was confused. "Who?... The Joonghyuk from the other world? That was just a short alliance."

"You smiled at him."yoo joonghyuk growled....

The room went completely quiet.

"You looked at a stranger, trusted him, and smiled," Joonghyuk said, his eyes full of anger.

"You let anyone touch you, and you leave us behind to worry about you."

Dokja stared at him. Then, he finally understood. *Wait... is he jealous?*

"Joonghyuk, are you mad just because I worked with another version of you?" Dokja asked with a smirk.

Joonghyuk moved fast. He grabbed Dokja’s white coat and pushed him back against the wall.

"Do you think this is a joke?" Joonghyuk yelled. His usual cold face completely broke.

Up close, Dokja saw that Joonghyuk’s hands were shaking. He could see real fear in his dark eyes.

"You think your life belongs only to you? It does not. If you die again... if you leave me alone..."

Joonghyuk let go of the coat and gently placed his hands on Dokja’s face.

His thumbs wiped away the dry blood from Dokja's lips. His touch was surprisingly warm and soft.

"You are *my* companion," Joonghyuk whispered firmly.

"Not his. Not anyone else's.

Mine.

Stop throwing your life away."

Dokja could not say a word.

He knew everything about their world from his favorite book, but he had never seen Joonghyuk look this scared and protective.

"Joonghyuk..." Dokja said softly.

"I am sorry. I will be more careful."

Joonghyuk let out a deep breath, and his shoulders relaxed. He took a healing potion out of his pocket, opened it, and held it to Dokja’s lips.

"Drink," Joonghyuk ordered.

His voice was bossy again, but it was kind.

Dokja drank the glowing liquid. Right away, the pain in his chest went away.

When Dokja finished drinking, Joonghyuk did not move away.

Instead, he put his strong arms around Dokja's waist and pulled him into a tight hug. He buried his face in Dokja’s neck.

He held him tightly,he could hear dokja's heartbeat.... just to make sure Dokja was really alive and safe.

Dokja stood still for a second, surprised. Then, he smiled and wrapped his arms around Joonghyuk’s broad back.

"I am here, Joonghyuk," Dokja whispered into the quiet room. "I am not going anywhere."
