Chapter 4 — The Reason of Overthinking

Humans are strange.

They can smile in front of everyone while fighting thousands of thoughts alone inside their mind. 🌙

Overthinking doesn't start because of one person.

It starts because of experiences.

Broken trust.

Harsh words.

Fake promises.

Changing behaviour.

And slowly, a human starts doubting everything. 😔

"What if they secretly hate me?"

"What if I'm annoying?"

"What if they leave too?"

The mind keeps creating problems even when the heart just wants peace.

Sometimes people overthink because they care too much. ❤️

They notice small changes.

Dry replies.

Late texts.

Different tone.

Different energy.

And then they sit alone wondering—

"Did I do something wrong?"

The worst part about overthinking is that humans know they are thinking too much... but still can't stop. 😶

At night, when everything becomes quiet, thoughts become louder.

One memory becomes another memory.

One fear becomes another fear.

And suddenly the person who looked strongest outside is silently crying inside. 💔

Humans often overthink because they were once ignored, replaced, lied to or hurt deeply.

After that, their heart starts preparing for pain before happiness even arrives.

That's why they push people away sometimes.

Not because they don't care...

But because they are scared of caring too much. 😔

Every overthinker secretly wants one thing—

Reassurance. 🤍

Someone who stays.

Someone who understands their silence.

Someone who says –

"I'm not leaving." ❤️

Humans don't fully control their thoughts because the brain is constantly working automatically. 🧠

Thoughts are created from:

memories

fears

emotions

habits

imagination

past experiences

Even when we don't want to think about something, the mind keeps processing it in the background.

For example — if someone tells you:

“Don't think about rain.” 🌧️

Your immediate brainly imagines rain first.

That's because thoughts appear automatically before we consciously control them.

What humans can control more is their reaction to thoughts, not always the arrival of thoughts themselves. 🤍

A random scary, embarrassing or sad thought doesn't define who you are. It’s simply the brain generating possibilities, memories, worries and emotions continuously.

Overthinking becomes stronger when:

stress is high

emotions are suppressed

someone feels unsafe or uncertain

past pain is unresolved

the mind keeps searching for answers

The brain believes it is “protecting” you by thinking again and again, even though it often creates more anxiety instead. 😔

That’s why sometimes at night thoughts become louder — there are fewer distractions, so the mind starts replaying everything. 🌙

Humans are emotional beings, not machines.

A heart feels, the brain analyses, and sometimes both move in opposite directions. ❤️

"why we overthink why

we cannot control our mind "

why we always think about the same thing again and again why we don’t get over it whenever we try to sleep we think and think and think again and again why ??

"A friend of mine we always talk to each other but now we are totally strangers 💔 we attend classes in same class but never talk to each other she has her new friend she is happy with her but me am all alone I don't know how I spend that hours without a single talk and thousands of overthinking "

That kind of situation can feel really strange and heavy emotionally. 😔

Seeing someone almost every day who used to be close to you, but now acting like strangers, can make the classroom feel uncomfortable even when nobody says anything.

Sometimes the silence hurts more than an argument.

Your mind may keep thinking things like:

“Should I talk first?”

“Does she hate me now?”

“Does she even care anymore?”

“Why did things change?”

And because you see her daily, your brain doesn’t get proper distance from the situation, so the thoughts keep returning again and again. 🌙

The truth is, not every friendship ends with a big fight.

Some slowly become distant because of misunderstandings, ego, different priorities, hurt feelings, or simply emotional disconnect.

And when two people stop talking without proper closure, it often leaves confusion behind. 💔

But one important thing:

Just because someone is no longer in your life the same way doesn’t mean your memories with them were fake. The friendship was real during the time it existed. 🤍

You also don’t have to force yourself to act like enemies. Sometimes peaceful distance is better than painful attachment.

And honestly, many people experience this during school or university — sitting in the same class with someone who once knew everything about them. It’s a very human kind of sadness. 😶

some day before she is talking with me like this and now we are totally strangers

and the more strange thing is she give my place to some one else.
