A Name I Lost

The next few days in Konoha felt strange for Yn.

Everything looked normal.

People walked around the streets, shops were open, children were playing—

But for Yn, nothing felt normal anymore.

She barely came out of her room.

And whenever she did, she always made sure to avoid one person.

Kakashi.

Morning, Training Ground 7…

Thud!

A kunai hit the wooden target.

But not the center.

Yn frowned.

"Tch."

Again.

Thud!

Again.

Wrong.

Her mind wasn't focused.

No matter how much she tried, the same thoughts kept coming back.

"Marriage..."

"Your own good..."

"Sensei agreed..."

Annoyed, Yn threw another kunai.

But this time—

Slice!

"...Ah!"

The kunai slipped slightly from her hand and cut across her palm.

A thin line of blood appeared.

Yn stared at it.

Then suddenly—

"Stop moving."

A familiar voice.

Yn froze.

Kakashi had appeared beside her.

Before she could even react, he gently held her wrist.

Yn looked at him with widened eyes.

"K-Kakashi sensei—"

He quietly took out bandages.

His eyes stayed on her injured hand.

"You weren't concentrating."

Silence.

Only the sound of wind.

Kakashi carefully wrapped the bandage around her hand.

"...Done."

But before he could let go—

Yn pulled her hand back.

"Don't act like you care now."

Silence.

Kakashi's hand slightly froze in the air.

Yn looked away.

"If you cared, things wouldn't become like this."

Then she turned and walked away.

Leaving Kakashi standing there alone.

Later that afternoon…

Naruto practically dragged Yn out of the house.

"Come onnn! Staying inside all day will make you become a grandma!"

"Naruto, I swear I will kill you."

"Nope!"

A few minutes later, they reached Ichiraku.

Naruto grinned proudly.

"I know ramen solves everything."

Yn stared at him.

Then sighed.

"...Idiot."

But for the first time in days—

a tiny smile appeared.

Naruto immediately pointed dramatically.

"SHE SMILED!"

"SHUT UP!"

Nearby, Sakura smiled softly.

Sasuke looked away.

"...You look less annoying when you're smiling."

Silence.

Everyone stared.

Sasuke: "...What?"

At the same time—

Across the street.

Kakashi stood holding a small book.

But his eyes weren't on the book.

They were on Yn.

He watched her laughing lightly with Naruto.

Watched Obito suddenly arrive and throw his arm around her shoulder dramatically.

"Come on princess! Big bro Obito is here!"

"OBITO MOVE!"

Kakashi narrowed his eyes slightly.

"..."

Strange.

Very strange.

Why was he staring?

Why did seeing Obito so close bother him?

Why did his chest feel uncomfortable?

He looked away immediately.

"...Ridiculous."

Then disappeared in air.

Evening…

Yn returned home after spending time outside.

As soon as she entered the house—

"Yn! Come here quickly!"

Kushina's excited voice echoed through the room.

Yn frowned slightly.

"What happened now, Mom?"

As she walked closer, she noticed a large box sitting on the table.

Kushina opened it with a smile.

Inside—

a beautiful white wedding dress.

For a moment, the room became silent.

Then—

"WOOOOOW!"

Sakura practically jumped from her seat.

Her eyes sparkled.

"Oh my God! Aunt Kushina, this dress is so beautiful! It looks amazing!"

She almost looked more excited than the bride herself.

"Seriously, Yn! Try it! Try it right now!"

Naruto looked confused.

"Eh? Girls get this excited over dresses?"

Sakura immediately smacked his head.

"Of course we do, idiot!"

"Aaah! Sakuraaa!"

Meanwhile Yn stood there with a tired expression.

"...It's just a dress."

"Nope."

Kushina immediately grabbed Yn's shoulders.

"You are trying this right now."

"Mom—"

"No arguments."

"But—"

"No."

Yn looked around helplessly.

Rin was smiling.

Obito was grinning.

Even Naruto looked curious.

Seeing everyone's excited faces, Yn let out a defeated sigh.

"...Fine."

After some time…

Everyone waited downstairs.

Suddenly—

Soft footsteps came from the stairs.

One step.

Two steps.

Three steps.

Everyone slowly looked up.

Yn was walking down the stairs.

The white dress flowed softly around her.

Her reddish hair fell over her shoulders and down her waist.

For a moment—

the entire room went quiet.

At that same time—

The front door opened.

Kakashi entered while talking with Minato.

"...About tomorrow's mission, I think—"

Then he stopped.

His words suddenly disappeared.

His eyes lifted.

And landed on Yn.

Silence.

Complete silence.

Kakashi just stood there.

Looking.

Minato noticed the sudden pause and looked at Kakashi in confusion.

"Hm?"

Then he followed Kakashi's gaze.

And saw Yn.

A soft smile appeared on Minato's face.

"Wow... Yn, you look beautiful."

Then he lightly patted Kakashi's shoulder.

"I'll go to my office first."

And with a small smile, Minato quietly left.

Leaving Kakashi standing there.

For a few moments—

Kakashi said nothing.

Yn also looked at him.

Neither moved.

Neither spoke.

Only stared.

Then suddenly—

"Wow Yn! You look really beautiful!"

Rin's voice broke the silence.

Immediately both Yn and Kakashi blinked.

As if suddenly coming back to reality.

Yn quickly looked away.

Then awkwardly rubbed her arm.

"Okay... everyone saw it already, right?"

She forced out a small smile.

"I'm going to change now."

"This dress is way too heavy and uncomfortable."

Without waiting for anyone's answer—

Yn quickly walked upstairs again.

And Kakashi's eyes unconsciously followed her until she disappeared.

Yn disappeared upstairs, but the strange silence downstairs stayed behind for a few seconds.

Naruto looked around.

"...Why is everyone acting weird?"

Sakura slowly turned toward Kakashi.

Then toward the stairs.

Then toward Kakashi again.

A suspicious smile slowly appeared on her face.

"Hmmmm..."

Obito narrowed his eyes.

Very suspiciously.

Very, very suspiciously.

Kakashi immediately picked up his orange book.

"...I'm leaving."

Before he could move—

Obito suddenly threw an arm around his shoulder.

"Oi oi oi, Copy Ninja. Leaving so fast?"

Kakashi's eyebrow twitched.

"Move."

Obito grinned.

"Not until you answer my question."

"..."

"...Why were you staring?"

Dead silence.

Naruto blinked.

Sakura blinked.

Rin blinked.

Kakashi froze.

"...I wasn't."

"Liar."

"I wasn't."

"Then why did your brain stop working for five whole seconds?"

"..."

"..."

"..."

Naruto suddenly gasped dramatically.

"WAIT! KAKASHI SENSEI GOT SHY?!"

"PFFT—"

Sakura instantly covered her mouth.

Even Rin looked away trying not to laugh.

A vein appeared on Kakashi's forehead.

"I said I wasn't."

Obito smirked proudly.

"Ohhhh? Then should I ask Yn—"

Before Obito could finish—

Poof!

Smoke appeared.

Kakashi disappeared.

Silence.

Then—

Naruto burst out laughing.

"HE RAN AWAY!"

Outside the house...

Kakashi stood on a tree branch.

The cold evening wind moved through his hair.

"...Idiots."

But for some reason—

his mind wasn't on Obito's teasing.

It wasn't on Minato.

It wasn't even on the mission discussion anymore.

Only one image kept coming back.

White dress.

Red hair.

And Yn standing at the stairs.

Kakashi closed his eyes.

"...Troublesome."

Yet strangely—

his heart still wasn't calm.

Meanwhile upstairs...

Yn had finally changed back into her normal clothes.

She sat near the window and looked outside.

Then quietly looked toward the folded wedding dress beside her.

For a few moments, she stared at it.

Then looked away.

"..."

"...Why did he look at me like that?"

And for the first time—

that question stayed in her mind.

The Wedding Day

Morning...

Today Konoha looked more lively than usual.

The streets were decorated.

People were talking, smiling, moving around happily.

But inside one room—

everything felt different.

Yn sat silently in front of the mirror.

The white wedding dress covered her figure beautifully.

Her reddish hair had been arranged carefully.

Behind her—

Kushina, Rin and Sakura were making final adjustments.

Sakura's eyes sparkled.

"Yn! You look so pretty!"

Rin smiled softly.

"Really beautiful."

Kushina fixed a small strand of Yn's hair beside her face.

"Done."

Silence.

Yn slowly lifted her eyes toward the mirror.

And looked at herself.

For a few seconds—

she simply stared.

"Is this my fate?"

"I wanted to become a clan leader..."

"How did everything become this?"

A small tear escaped from her eye.

Kushina noticed immediately.

Her expression softened.

She gently wiped Yn's tear.

Then quietly kissed her forehead.

"Don't cry."

Yn lowered her eyes.

Outside...

Guests had already gathered.

Small whispers spread among people.

"Isn't she too young?"

"She's Hokage's daughter..."

"I didn't expect this..."

"They say it's for her protection..."

People kept talking.

Some curious.

Some surprised.

Some simply watching.

Then suddenly—

The doors slowly opened.

Everyone looked up.

Yn entered.

Step...

Step...

Step...

No smile.

No excitement.

Just a calm face.

A quiet expression.

Slowly she walked forward.

Toward Kakashi.

Kakashi looked at her silently.

For the first time in a long time—

even he forgot what to say.

The ceremony started.

The officiant spoke calmly.

Words passed by one after another.

But Yn barely heard anything.

Everything felt distant.

Until—

"You may now greet your bride."

Small whispers immediately spread among the guests.

Naruto blinked.

Sakura froze.

Obito stared.

Yn slowly looked up—

only to see Kakashi standing quietly in front of her.

Then—

Kakashi gently placed his hand on her head.

And softly pressed a kiss on her forehead.

No rush.

No excitement.

Just something quiet.

Something careful.

Yn's eyes widened slightly.

The whispers around them suddenly became louder.

But Kakashi didn't say anything.

He simply looked at her.

Night...

Kakashi's house felt unusually quiet.

The room had been decorated by others earlier.

Flowers, lights—

everything arranged neatly.

Yn sat on the edge of the bed silently.

Looking down.

"What happened to my life?"

"How did things change so much?"

Then—

The door slowly opened.

Kakashi entered.

For a moment, neither spoke.

Then Kakashi walked closer.

"...You should rest."

Yn kept looking down.

Then quietly—

"You could have stopped this, Sensei."

Silence.

Kakashi's eyes lowered slightly.

"...It was supposed to protect you."

As soon as those words left his mouth—

Yn's eyes filled again.

"But did anyone ask me what I wanted?"

Silence.

Kakashi looked at her.

Really looked at her.

Not as a student.

Not as responsibility.

Just... Yn.

Slowly, he walk towards yn and knelt down in front of her.

"..."

Then touch Yn’s chin and kissed her forehead softly.

Yn was stunned by Kakashi’s sudden act. Kakashi also surprised by his won action.

Then.......

"...Don't cry."

"... Tears doesn't suit you."

Yn looked at him with surprised eyes.

Kakashi stood up again.

"You should sleep."

Then he walked toward the door.

After some time...

Kakashi returned quietly.

Moonlight entered through the room.

Yn had already fallen asleep near the corner of the bed, curled up slightly.

Kakashi stood there silently.

Then let out a small sigh.

"...Troublesome."

He pulled a blanket over her carefully.

And sat beside the window.

Watching the night sky—

while Yn sleep. Stayed far away from him.

Morning...

Soft sunlight slowly entered through the curtains.

Yn's eyelashes moved slightly.

"Hmm..."

Slowly opening her eyes, she looked around the room.

For a few seconds—

everything felt unfamiliar.

Then suddenly—

Yesterday's memories flashed into her mind.

Wedding.

Guests.

Kakashi.

Her eyes widened.

She immediately sat up.

Then looked around.

"...Sensei?"

Silence.

No answer.

Yn got off the bed quickly.

She checked one side of the room.

Then another.

Bathroom.

Kitchen.

Nothing.

"...Sensei?"

Still nothing.

Then suddenly—

her eyes landed on something beside the bed.

A small folded note.

Yn frowned and picked it up.

Slowly opening it—

her eyes read the words:

"Sorry Yn."

"I have to leave for a long mission."

"Goodbye. Take care."

Silence.

Complete silence.

Yn stared at the paper.

Once.

Twice.

Three times.

As if her brain refused to understand it.

Then suddenly—

"What...?"

A few moments later...

Bang!

Minato looked up from his desk in surprise.

"Yn—?"

Yn stood in front of him.

Tightly holding the note.

Her eyes were already becoming red.

She placed the paper in front of Minato.

"What does this mean?"

Silence.

Minato looked at the note.

Then at Yn.

"He said this marriage was to protect me, right?!"

"Then where did he go?!"

"And what does long mission even mean?!"

"Days?! Weeks?! Months?!"

Minato sighed softly.

"It was urgent, Yn."

"And even I don't know how long it—"

"Then why?!"

Yn interrupted.

Tears slowly fell from her eyes.

"Nobody asked me anything before."

"Nobody listened to me."

"And now after all this..."

"...he left too?"

Silence.

Minato couldn't answer immediately.

Because for the first time—

he didn't know what to say.

Yn wiped her eyes angrily.

Then turned and walked away.

Konoha streets...

Yn walked silently.

Without direction.

Without purpose.

Then slowly—

voices reached her ears.

"Look, that's her."

"Kakashi Hatake's wife."

"The Hokage's daughter."

"So young..."

Yn's footsteps slowed.

Kakashi Hatake's wife.

Not Yn.

Not Uzumaki Yn.

Not future clan leader.

Just—

Kakashi Hatake's wife.

Yn lowered her eyes.

"So now..."

"I lost my own name too?"

Then quietly—

she kept walking.

Days passed.

Days turned into weeks.

Weeks turned into months.

Months turned into years.

And years...

turned into five.

Five years later...

Wind blew through Konoha's gates.

A girl stood there silently.

No—

not a girl anymore.

A woman.

Long reddish hair danced in the wind.

Cold eyes.

Sharp gaze.

On her Jonin vest—

the mark of countless battles.

More than 50+ S-rank missions completed.

Always alone.

Never teammates.

Never depending on anyone.

Because somewhere along the way—

Yn learned something:

"If you expect nothing..."

"Nothing can leave you behind."
