Chapter: 5

As Isabel (Valerie) and Kate (Callie) returned and started locking all the windows and the door, others looked at them in confusion.

"What are you doing?" Olivia (Sam) asked.

"Closing all the doors and windows." Kate replied, hands shaking.

"I can see that. But why?" Olivia asked again.

"The Foul Play has started." Isabel replies calmly.

"Oh really?! Then why get locked in here. Let's go out!" Jacob (Devin) spoke up.

"Oh, you want to? Come here, look outside." Isabel said, calling him by the window.

Jacob scoffs and looks through it. Outside, the students were running around with knife or some sharp thing in their hands. At the first glance, it only seems that they're playing, but then they start stabbing each other. Jacob's eyes widened, and whole body started trembling.

"W... what is t... that...?" Jacob trembles.

"Foul Play. Where all illegal things are legal." Isabel says calmly, as if it's no big deal.

Jacob instantly shut the window and locked it tight. Olivia, Julie (Mabel) and Thomas (Alaric) looked at him in confusion. They've never seen Jacob so afraid in their whole life.

"What's wrong?" Thomas asked, putting a comforting hand on Jacob's shoulder.

"See for yourself." Isabel said calmly, when Jacob couldn't even speak anymore.

Thomas walks over and opens the window, Olivia and Julie also peeks. The view paled them. Moving knifes, scattered class, blood everywhere and students running around, some screaming and some laughing like menace. Isabel was about the close the window again, but suddenly all the lights turned red, not just in the room, but everywhere, even the outside. Then came an ear-piercing siren, screaming at max. All the students outside, froze in their place.

"Va— Bell, close the window!" They all yelled together.

"Shh! Something interesting is happening." Isabel leans onto the window as she says that.

"Are you mad?! Shut it!" Jacob yelled again.

Isabel didn't even bother to look at him, the outside scene was just too interesting for her. In the ground outside, two dark figures showed up after the siren went down.

Jacob got frustrated out of fear and yanked Isabel back to shut the window. Since Isabel was injured, she lost her balance and fell, causing her wound to reopen and start bleeding through the bandage.

"The hell do you mean by this?!" Isabel yelled.

"What?! I'm closing the window, so you don't get us killed!!" Jacob yelled back.

"I get us all killed?! Oh, wow! After everything, I am the villain here?! Just great!" Isabel said and walked off to her room.

Others all watched the scene unfold but no one spoke up. They were all too scared by the situation outside that they totally ignored the fact that Isabel was bleeding, even thought that what Jacob did and said might be correct and for their own good. Kate forgot how Isabel get her up here safely even through all that stupidity outside, where she could've died if not for Isabel.

Meanwhile, inside the girl's room, Isabel pulled out her medical kit from the bag and re-bandaged her wounds. She was so angry at everything, and mainly at Jacob.
