The evening had settled quietly over the city. The sun had already disappeared beyond the horizon, painting the sky in shades of orange and purple before darkness slowly took over.
Just like every other day, Tae was busy working at the café.
Meanwhile, at Jeon Corporation, Jungkook sat alone inside his office.
His eyes remained fixed on the address displayed on his phone screen.
For the past twenty minutes, he had done nothing but stare at it.
The address of Tae's café.
He sighed and leaned back in his chair.
"Why am I even thinking about this?"
It was just a bracelet.
A simple bracelet.
Something that could have easily been picked up by one of his employees.
Yet somehow, he couldn't bring himself to send anyone else.
His mind kept replaying the same memory.
That voice.
That deep, calm voice.
The voice he hadn't been able to forget since yesterday.
Before he could overthink it any further, Jungkook grabbed his car keys and stood up.
A few moments later, he walked out of his cabin and headed toward the parking lot.
The café was unusually quiet that evening. Most of the customers had already left, leaving behind a peaceful atmosphere filled with the comforting aroma of coffee.
Behind the counter, Tae was busy cleaning up after the evening rush. He absentmindedly wiped the surface while humming softly to himself, eager to finish his shift and head home.
The sound of the café door opening barely registered in his mind.
Assuming it was just another customer, he continued what he was doing.
Without looking up, a gentle smile appeared on his face.
"What would you like to order, sir?"
Silence.
No response came.
Tae paused for a moment, wondering if the customer hadn't heard him.
Slowly, he lifted his head.
"Sir, what would you li—"
The rest of the sentence died on his lips.
Standing in front of him was a tall man dressed in an expensive black suit.
His features were sharp and handsome, his posture confident, and his dark eyes remained fixed on Tae with an intensity he couldn't quite understand.
Tae blinked in confusion.
For a few seconds, his eyes wandered over the customer standing in front of him.
From the perfectly tailored black suit to the expensive watch on his wrist, everything about the man screamed wealth and sophistication.
People like him rarely visited this café.
At least, not from what Tae had seen.
Pushing the thought aside, he offered another polite smile.
"Sir? What would you like to order?"
Still no response.
The man simply stood there.
Watching him.
Not the casual glance of a customer deciding what to order.
Not even curiosity.
It was something else.
Something that made Tae strangely aware of himself.
The man's dark eyes remained fixed on him, as if he was trying to memorize every detail of his face.
As if he was searching for something.
Or perhaps...
As if he was looking straight through him.
The intensity of that gaze made Tae shift awkwardly.
For the first time that evening, he felt slightly nervous.
"Sir...?" he called again, tilting his head in confusion.
Only then did the man seem to return to reality.
Jungkook's POV
Jungkook had been standing outside the café for almost twenty-five minutes before finally gathering enough courage to enter
Even now, he wasn't sure why he had come.
The great Jeon Jungkook.
The future CEO of Jeon Corporation.
Driving across the city himself...
For a bracelet.
It sounded ridiculous.
And yet, every time he searched for a logical explanation, he always arrived at the same answer.
That voice.
The voice that had somehow stayed in his mind long after the call had ended.
And now...
For the first time...
He was finally looking at the person behind it. ✨
I took a deep breath before pushing open the café door.
The small bell above it chimed softly, making my heart beat even faster. I didn't know why I was so nervous. After all, I was only here to pick up a bracelet.
The future CEO of Jeon Corporation driving across the city for something so small sounded ridiculous.
Yet no matter how many excuses I made, I knew the truth.
I wasn't here because of a bracelet.
I was here because of a voice.
As I stepped inside, my eyes wandered around the café. It wasn't luxurious or expensive, but it felt warm. Soft lights hung from the walls, small plants decorated the corners, and the rich scent of coffee filled the air.
It was the kind of place that made people forget how exhausting their day had been.
My gaze eventually landed on the counter.
A boy was standing there, wiping the surface clean. His head was lowered, hiding his face from view.
Then he spoke.
"What would you like to order, sir?"
The moment I heard that voice, my breath caught in my throat.
It was him.
The same deep, calm voice that had been occupying my thoughts since yesterday.
Slowly, he lifted his head and looked at me.
And suddenly, everything around me disappeared.
The noise.
The people.
The café.
All of it faded away.
Those eyes.
Those soft, fluffy lips.
That angelic face.
For a moment, I forgot why I had come here.
No...
For a moment, I forgot how to breathe.
He was saying something.
I could see his lips moving.
But I couldn't hear a single word.
Because at that moment...
I was completely lost in him.
Because all I could think was—
How could someone be this beautiful?
Jungkook:
I'm here for the bracelet.
Also Jungkook:
Forgets the bracelet exists.
😂😂😂
What do you think about their first meeting? Was Jungkook already falling for Tae? 🤭
