Peace Be With You

"Hey Rose! Come on. We gotta go. The mass is about to start." Ben said.

I nod and followed Ben. I don't have energy to talk. I'm so sad for what happened.

"Hey Baby, is something wrong?" Dad asked.

"Nothing Dad." I answered

"Concentrate on the mass Rose." Mom said.

"Yes Mom." I replied.

I focused in the mass but still thinking about him. I prayed that he will forgive me. That we can be friends. The mass ended. As we walked outside the church, I saw him with his family. I noticed that he has a younger brother who's same aged with Lily and as handsome like him. His parents we're look like the same aged with my parents maybe at their 40's. The way they carry themselves we're so class and prominent that they look like an elite family. But they're very humble by the way they approached people. And their beauty we're like a greek God. I was looking into him as we walked outside the church. I prayed that he will noticed me but his brother noticed me looking into him and he poked him. Then he looked at me. I smiled but he didn't. He just looked at me plainly. I sign the peace be with you with a smile and he smiled back. Thank God he forgive me, I thought and say thank you without a voice to him. He nod and left with his family.

As requested by my sister we went to a mall. It was almost an hour from the village. We do shopping and it's so tiring. After that, we had lunch in a fine dining restaurant near the mall. It took us 15 minutes to travel from the mall due to heavy traffic and I was annoyed by it. I suggested to them that we just stay in the mall for lunch but they didn't listen. As we got inside the restaurant my brother poked me and pointed him. I was shocked and got tense. This is the second time that I meet him today, I thought. My brother was about to laugh but I pinched him.

"Ouch."

"Are you alright Ben? Mom asked.

"No Mom. Rose pinched me because ..."

I covered Ben mouth before he continue his words. He unleashed my hands from his mouth.

"What is it Rose?" Mom asked.

"It's nothing Mom. We're just playing a little." I replied.

"Okay, stop it now. Act like a lady. We are in a fine dining restaurant." Mom replied and followed Daddy.

"Yes Mom." I replied and we followed them.

I whispered into Ben, "Don't every try to tease me about what happened in the church."

"Why would I listen to you?" He asked and sat in the chair.

"Please Ben." I pleaded and sat in the chair next to him.

"What are you talking to each other?" Lily asked. She was curious why we are whispering.
