Chapter 5 - "Misunderstanding"

"I'm just wanted to make this all straight, before you misunderstood for me, I know I'm not a part of the rich, but please don't treat me like that" said June to Kenneth

"I'm not treating you like that" reply Kenneth to her confused

"I'm glad to hear that, and I'm sorry I didn't mean to accuse you, but I'm just very sensitive about everything that happens to me today" said June explaining herself

"Yeah, that's fine, I get it, I'm sorry too for my earlier behavior" said Kenneth to her carrying his training bag about to leaving the room

"Have you eaten, yet we should go grab a lunch together?" ask Kenneth offering her another lunch together

"Thanks, but I've already eaten some when I entered here, there was a free buffet, and I take some foods too" replied June walked away

"Then how about a dinner..., I'm really sorry I didn't mean to make you feel that way" said Kenneth offering a dinner together

"It's alright and about the dinner I'll think about it" reply June to him, she didn't want to refuse the offer, because she now had nothing to go, no money to eat, she e had run away from home for three days already.

They exchanged their numbers there, June knew it was a bit weird, but she needed it, she needs to eat.

June then left there with a gloomy look leaving the stadium, Joshua who happened to come back immediately went to Kenneth, and asked if he had seen June.

“Hey, Ken, have you seen Miss Sawyer?" ask Joshua to Kenneth who is on his way home

"She's just leaving, what's the matter?" ask Kenneth confused at him

"Nothing, I told her to wait earlier, but she's gone, just like that, I thought about to ask her to a dinner" reply Joshua staring at him

"Do you know her?" ask Kenneth to him

"Yeah, I'm the one who invited her here, she's a nice person, see you tonight" reply Joshua to Kenneth smiling and leaving the room

At the bus station June started to think she didn't really want to reject him, but remembering that he had just lost a match, she just said she would think about it, because she also remembered that she now had no more money for food.

As June stared at the fancy place near the bus station the more she wanted to be one of them, she was thinking about how to be them, she's now an unemployed, that's struggling to be a writer.

That evening, June sat down again on a new park bench this time. She looked at the clock on her cell phone and saw that it was almost night. June finally decided to go because she couldn't starve like that.

A car came to pick her up, and when she got in, a dress and luxurious clothes were in a gift box, June was confused, she asked the driver.

"Is it for me?" ask June staring at the driver

"Yes, Mr. Liston told me to give this to you" reply the driver at her

June was confused, so she finally took the box and went to the public restroom in the park to change her clothes and do a little light make-up.

...Night at the party, Liston Hall...

The Liston family, they have an estate business, called Liston Estate, they hold parties in their renaissance-style building.

"Welcome, please come in" said a waiter opening the door for all the invited visitor

It turns out that this was not just an ordinary party, but a party held by the Liston family for Kenneth's return as a tennis athlete, after a year of hiatus.

"Ken, long time no see, how are you, you did a great job today" said Jenna Marshall, Joshua older sister, smiled and gave Kenneth a hug

"Jenna Marshall, you're back" said Kenneth gave her a hug back, shocked a little

"Yeah, I'm tired of going all the way exploring Europe, so I'm taking a break, before I'm going to Greece for my next stop" said Jenna smiled to him

"Alright see you later, and enjoy the party" said Kenneth saw a car arriving outside

June was shocked, this is the first time she arrived at such a luxurious building. When she got down, all eyes were immediately on her. Everyone was looking at the dress she was wearing, and her unfamiliar face.

Kenneth looked at her, he was quite stunned, because he didn't expect this similarity of her. June saw Kenneth from afar and waved her hand at him, Kenneth then smiled slightly and approached her.

"Didn't you say a dinner, but this is a party?" muttered June to Kenneth confused and stunned

"It's a dinner, and you're stunning" praise Kenneth to June smiled gave her his hand

"Who's she, I've never seen her before?" muttered Jenna to Joshua who is busy taking a glass of champagne

"Who are you talking about?" ask Joshua trying to take a sip of his champagne

"The girl walking beside Ken, her face looks like it's not very familiar." said Jenna staring straight at June

Because he was confused and curious, Joshua finally took a small glance, and he was shocked that the woman was none other than June Sawyer.

"June Sawyer, why is she here with Ken?" ask Joshua stunned

"Wait, June Sawyer, isn't that the name you mentioned earlier?" muttered Jenna stunned too

"But anyway she reminded me of someone, but I forgot that person she's reminded me of." muttered Jenna keep staring at June

"Dania Morriss, right, I notice that today after she mentioned him, and I realized she reminded me of Dania" said Joshua to Jenna

"Yes you're right, Dania, they did look alike, but why she knows Ken though?" muttered Jenna confused holding her glass of champagne

"He brought her to a lunch in the fancy restaurant near the Carolstrings park" reply Joshua to Jenna taking another sip of his champagne

"Wait, so he did know her, is this all a coincidence?" muttered Jenna curious staring from afar at both of Kenneth and June
