“Hey, soft girl.”

Isabelle followed behind, arms crossed.

“You’re late. I thought you got arrested or something.”

Rosey shrugged.

“Close enough.”

The mood shifted instantly.

Heels.

Clapping.

Bianca Valerio walked in with Maia and Ellena behind her.

Smiling.

But not kindly.

“Well, well…” Bianca said. “The street rat finally came back.”

Rosey turned slowly.

“Oh, I missed your personality disorder.”

Laughter from Isabelle.

Bianca’s smile twitched.

She stepped closer.

“Rumors say you disappeared into a luxury car. What? Got adopted by rich criminals?”

Rosey tilted her head.

“Something like that.”

That answer wasn’t expected.

He walked toward her.

“You didn’t answer my messages.”

“Oh. Sorry. I was being kidnapped.”

Helene choked.

Isabelle tried not to laugh.

“…Kidnapped?”

“Long story. Very toxic relationship dynamic.”

“That’s dangerous.”

Looked toward the distant black car outside the gate.

Her eyes narrowed.

“…So you’re watching too.”

She smirked.

“Great. Even my kidnapping has an audience.”
