Chapter 1: The Two Great Clans

There was a rich territory known as Elysian Heights, a place where only the wealthiest and most influential families in the country lived. It was not a place that ordinary businessmen could enter just by making money. To gain residence in Elysian Heights, one needed generations of wealth, power, influence, and connections that reached the highest levels of society.

The roads of the territory were lined with tall trees and expensive gardens. Luxury cars passed through the wide streets while security guards watched every entrance. Every mansion stood proudly behind large iron gates, each one representing the prestige of the family that lived within.

At the very center of Elysian Heights stood two magnificent mansions that attracted everyone's attention.

The first mansion belonged to the Bennet Family. It was built with white marble walls and towering pillars. Crystal chandeliers hung from the high ceilings, casting golden light across the grand halls. Beautiful fountains decorated the front courtyard while rare flowers bloomed in the vast gardens. Inside, there were elegant ballrooms, private libraries filled with ancient books, and meeting rooms where important decisions were made.

Directly across from it stood the mansion of the Hayes Family. The mansion was equally impressive with black stone architecture, tall glass windows, and luxurious interiors. A large lake stretched behind the estate, reflecting the lights of the mansion at night. The property included private sports facilities, a helipad, and guest houses for visiting dignitaries and business partners.

Many influential clans lived within Elysian Heights. These families had supported the country's economy for generations. Their businesses controlled finance, real estate, technology, manufacturing, and even media companies. They maintained close relationships with government officials and politicians, making them some of the most powerful people in the nation.

Among all the clans, two families stood above the rest—the Bennet Family and the Hayes Family.

For decades, these two families competed for dominance. Their wealth was so immense that people often joked they could rival half of the country's economy.

However, times had begun to change.

As the younger generation of the Hayes Family inherited power, greed slowly started spreading among them. Family members fought over authority and profits. Internal conflicts weakened their influence, and many poor decisions caused their businesses to lose opportunities.

Because of this, the Hayes Family slowly fell from the top position.

Meanwhile, the Bennet Family continued to grow stronger. Their younger generation entered different industries, expanding their influence into technology, healthcare, international trade, and finance and army. Their success brought even more prestige to the family name.

Soon, the Bennet Family became recognized as the number one clan in the country.
