Everything went on well and at the end of it all, they were told after the coming two months, there would be an exam and the top ten in the whole class will qualify to go to the main continent for studies for free. They closed for the day and Learmar ran out of class as usual and went to Kite's place who was also waiting for him, he changed his school clothes and they went to the city. This time, Learmar was ready to make big money and give it his all. On reaching, each with their masks, Kite placed a bet on him with all the money he had knowing that he had nothing to lose. Learmar went on stage and people already acknowledged his presence. His opponent went on the other side and the battle began. After the usual procedure, they were ready though Learmar's opponent had powerful pawns and Learmar had only two powerful pawns out of his seven. The opponent started cocky with a head on attack aimed to kill and with the high stats of his opponents, Learmar had no chance of winning so, he used a risky formation with his strongest in the frontier and in the moment the opponent's pawn touched his, he used a combined attack from his minor opponents making sure that it was a sure hit and killed the pawns even as his opponent was still recovering, he used his strongest to land the final blow finishing the game. The match seemed simple and with the difference in stats, it was safe to assume that Learmar cheated but the difference was in the techniques he chose to gave his pawns, however much he had two strong pawns, he only increased their defense and attack speed and with the other points which every contestant was given to choose the pawns, he made the rest have a killer long range attack and increased their release speed making the whole difference. This went on and he won five matches with just the same technique but slightly modified. More skilled opponents started coming in for he was caught in a corner thrice but due to his experience and flexibility, he turned the tide with serious moves winning. For him, every pawn of his had a role and they were all valuable on which he was taught by the difficult questions in X FORCE by his mother. He also learnt a lot in the process and won 10 games earning ten times the money they came in with. With that, they wanted to leave but the owner, a beautiful lady in her twenties and challenged Learmar Infront of everyone and if he won, she would give him ten million. He wanted to refuse but she bent over and told him in his ear to use his brain well and notice where he was. Learmar sighed and agreed to the match. Kite was shocked and wanted to talk him out of it telling him that they would lose all their money but all in vain. The lady smiled and went on stage same as Learmar everyone in that building had their eyes on that match, Kite put in half the money they had earned while the lady put in the ten million and later afterwards, the match began. From the beginning, she was already into it all round fixed in her formations impossible to crack in the eyes of amateurs but Learmar saw through it but ignored it and tried to find another way out to please the audience for everyone wanted him to lose. He put up a really good show for the audience making the lady have the upper hand. He found another way after successfully drawing the attention of a specific pawn but she saw through that and killed one of his pawns and he was surprised. He tried using the other way falling right into her trap and with her prawn's high stats, all his pawns were wiped out. He wasn't shocked and he just accepted defeat ready to walk out of the stage. However, she contacted him through her bodyguard who was just outside his room. He told him that she wasn't a fool to be played with telling him to take her serious emphasizing that she had his friend's life in her palms. Learmar said that he truly lost and the lady asked him if he wanted a demonstration. Learmar went back and this time, he changed everything going all out even in his pawns Kite saw that he was back and bet the last half trusting his friend. The match started and this time, he showed no mercy having in his mind the death of his previous pawns which didn't please him. He overestimated her using all his best techniques countering her in every way possible. He used his time and chances as if he could never have other chances this shocked the spectators wondering how a child was capable of that Learmar passed a cold chill down the spine of the lady leaving her eyes wide open but she wasn't an easy prey either way. She had her own plan and a cheat code waiting for the right time to use. She first of all steadied her positions and waited till she had Learmar completely at her disposal but the prey wasn't yet known. She was ready to destroy Learmar's team in one blow but knowing who he was up against, he had already anticipated that and had a counter plan but one would suffer who was his captain with the highest stats and the strongest defence. He made a new formation and when she released her attack, the formation being a straight line with the captain in the front, the captain took it head on using all his stats to block it and when she thought that she had won, Learmar made a swift and lethal counter move wiping out her pawns in split seconds giving her no time to even see the moves and Learmar won but at the cost of his captain for although he had the points, they weren't enough to save his captain and his healer used all his stats to help the captain maintain the frontier. The lady clapped and said that she had lost fair and square the audience followed her lead. Learmar walked away in deep thoughts disturbed with his move. She went to him and granted him a VIP pass for he didn't need to go through the other floors after pulling of those moves. She gave him the money and granted him the title, The New Commander. She then showed him around with Kite and how she did her business.
