So Much For Rule Oneีž฿น - ฿นีž

**Cornelia POV**

After listing the rules, we signed the paper.

I was still annoyed by what he'd said about me not being attractive. What's his deal?

And he's not even that attractive either I know for a fact he doesn't have any abs, I scoffed. (A statement I would very much regret within the next twelve hours.)

He stood up.

I couldn't help but ask where he was going too.

"I'll be going to bed," he said, already walking off.

"What???"

"I'm sleeping on the bed first, not you," I said, cutting in front of him like I was racing him for the last parking spot.

He just shoved me aside and kept walking.

What the hell.

"Andrew!" I called his name, but he didn't answer, just climbed the stairs like he hadn't heard a thing.

And before I knew it, he'd disappeared into the room, forcing me to knock on my own door like a guest in my own apartment.

Andrew let me in. "I want to sleep on the bed," I said.

He stayed silent and just shut the door in my face without a word.

"Okay, fine, at least give me my phone, it's inside," I said, hearing his footsteps approach.

He opened the door and handed me the phone, face completely expressionless. I took it from his hand, but before I could say anything else, he closed the door again.

I groaned. "I also need a blanket," I said and he opened the door just long enough to throw it directly at my face.

What the hell. Then he shut the door again.

This is going to be the worst year of my life, I said, walking downstairs.

I lay on the couch and covered myself, groaning in frustration. Welcome to luxury apartment living, apparently.

**Andrew POV**

I came out of the bathroom after a hot bath. I can't believe this is happening to me.

That roommate that annoying little girl. She looks young, and she's annoying as hell with all her rules.

Honestly, I don't give a damn about her rules. I opened the wardrobe and saw some of my clothes were still in there.

I grabbed a top and shorts to wear, and that's when I noticed her luggage sitting by the side of the bed still packed, completely untouched. She didn't even unpack. If she had, she'd have seen my clothes already in here. Genius detective work, really.

I sighed and lay on the bed, staring up at the ceiling.

I can't believe my girlfriend broke up with me,I groaned, after everything I did for her.

There's no way I'll forgive her not after she cheated on me with her ex.

That's why I came home drunk in the first place, completely forgetting I even had a house to come back to.

Fuck, fuck, I groaned. This was such absolute bullshit.

And now I'm stuck living with this tiny gremlin of a girl.

**Cornelia POV**

I woke up exhausted, having not gotten a good night's sleep. My whole body ached like I'd been hit by a truck, and it was entirely his fault.

I sighed, stood up, and walked to the fridge for some water.

I opened it and found absolutely nothing inside. I closed it and sighed. Right. I just moved in. I haven't bought anything yet.

I wanted to cry. Instead, I grabbed a cup, filled it from the tap, and drank that.

I washed my face and headed upstairs I need to get ready for school, I told myself.

I was in my final year. I couldn't wait to be done.

I opened the door, completely forgetting Rule One, and walked in. No one was inside.

That's strange where's Andrew? Then again, who cares anyway.

I went to my luggage to grab some clothes.

What should I wear, I thought, sorting through my things. So lost in thought that I didn't notice Andrew had stepped out of the bathroom behind me. I pulled out a sunny yellow top and stood up.

Then I heard someone clear their throat behind me. I turned to see Andrew shirtless, water dripping from his dark hair and sliding down his chest like he'd personally hired a wind machine.

A towel was wrapped around his waist, his V-shape and six-pack abs very much on display, as if gravity itself had decided to do him a favor.

He was fucking sexy I didn't even realize the word had slipped out of my mouth until it was already floating in the air between us.

"Sexy?" he said, smirking at me.

Did I just say that out loud? I thought, stepping back in horror only to slip on the water he'd tracked across the floor. Truly, the man was a one-man hazard zone.

"Ahhhh!" I shouted, but he caught me which somehow resulted in both of us falling onto the bed instead, him on top of me, water from his hair dripping onto my face. Our eyes locked.

This was embarrassing and awkward at the same time, I thought, feeling my cheeks heat up.

"You broke the first rule," he said, still on top of me.

"What?" I said, shoving him off.

The shove sent him sliding on the water and landing hard on the floor.

"Ow, my butt," he said.

"Sorry," I said, grabbing my clothes and bolting out of the room.

What the actual hell. What the hell just happened, I thought, my cheeks still burning.
