CHAPTER 1 : THE BEGINNING

Morning arrived. Most people love the beginning of a new day, but I don't. Every morning reminds me that I share one body with two other souls.

My name is Alaxia. I am one of three sisters trapped inside the same body. People think we're one person, but they have no idea that three different souls live within us.

Some people blame me for what happened that night. My sisters, Mary and Alaze, tell me it wasn't my fault, but I still carry the guilt. If only we had made different choices, everything might have been different.

This is our story.

THE PAST

Our parents were witches who hunted demons. Our home was filled with ancient books, magical weapons, and dark secrets.

There was one room in the house that we were never allowed to enter. Every time we asked about it, our parents refused to answer.

One stormy night, while our parents were away, curiosity got the better of us. Rain poured from the sky, thunder shook the house, and we decided to open the forbidden door...

That single decision changed our lives forever.

"Guys, aren't you curious about what's inside that room?" I asked, pointing toward the forbidden door.

The hallway fell silent.

The old wooden door stood at the end of the corridor, covered with strange symbols. It looked darker than usual, as if it were hiding something alive.

"I don't know," Alaze whispered. "I'm scared."

To be honest, I was scared too. My heart pounded in my chest, but curiosity was stronger than fear.

They say curiosity killed the cat.

Maybe they're right.

"Maybe this is why we have our powers," I said. "We have magic, but we've never been taught how to use it."

"You know we're forbidden to enter that room," Alexa reminded us.

"Oh, come on," I sighed. "We all want to know what's behind that door."

"B-but..." Alaze stammered.

"No more excuses," Alexa said, gently pushing us toward the door. "Let's go."

"I have a really bad feeling about this," I admitted.

"Scaredy-cat," Alexa teased with a smile.

I followed them anyway. I didn't want to be left behind.

As we stood before the door, I noticed glowing runes carved into the wooden frame.

"It's protected by a powerful spell," I whispered.

I raised my hand and spoke an ancient spell that came to me as if I had always known it.

The glowing symbols flickered.

One by one, the magical locks clicked open.

Only one lock remained.

I reached for the golden doorknob.

"Are you both ready?" I asked.

Neither of my sisters answered.

I took a deep breath...
