Now without further ado, let's begin.
Harrison walked into the flat. He finally bought an apartment after spending his after high school time with his parents back at Russia. Ivanov stepped into the hall and noticed that his new living space was between two other. While grabbing the key he heard the both doors open and then two guys stepped out.
To Harrison's notice they glared at each other, and it seemed like they haven't realized he's between them.
One of the males looked down at a quite small figure and met eyes with greyish irises. He then moved his stare back to the hazel pupils and his gaze sharpened.
The second male looked down and raised one eyebrow. Harrison was unlocking his door without a care in the world and when the door creaked open he was pulled back.
"Name." He heard from the male with hazel eyes. "Full... or?" Ivanov asked quietly. "Full." Said firmly the second guy. "Harrison Leopold... Ivanov." he said calmly when they finally let go of his arms.
"Andrew Harry Schneider." , "William Vincent Laurent." They said at the same time before looking at each other again. Harrison's eyes sharpened before he had to forcefully soften them.
"If we're finished with the introductions, I request to let me go inside." They nodded at the same time and Ivanov quickly entered his new apartment, closing the door.
'oh shoot... It was Laurent AND Schneider in the same hall. Right next to my new place. Where I wanted to have a new identity and go killing again...' he thought to himself. Then he quickly settled in and sat down on his new bed.
"Well... I guess I shouldn't kill with a mafioso and a detective next door. Though, who's gonna stop me. No one..." He whispered, barely audibly. The boy then stood up and stalked to the refrigerator, he opened it and expectedly found no food in. Ivanov sighed and grabbed a bag then walked to the door.
He opened it and found Andrew standing in the way. "May I somehow help?" Harrison asked slightly confused. "Oh no, I just wanted to get to know you better... But I see you're going somewhere?" He looked down at Harrison's shop bag.
"Oh yeah, I wanted to go shopping." An awkward silence fell. "Well if you want to join me, you're free to do so." Schneider nodded. "Then shall we go?"
Ivanov's face fell, slightly nervous to have a detective at his neck, even though he knew Andrew wasn't a typical detective running in the light side.
"Yeah let's go." But then the door on his right opened and Laurent stepped out. "Am I missing something?" Harrison cursed his luck but smiled on the surface. "Oh no, the acquaintance here wanted to company me to the grocery store . But you shouldn't trouble yourself." "Oh, but I WANT to tag along, is that a problem?" Said back William. "No, no." Harrison assured and just glanced at Andrew. "Let's go then."
The road to the grocery shop passed with awkward silence or just Andrew and William staring draggers at each other. Harrison was at the lead and stepped into the shop first. He grabbed a basket, went to the meat section and looked closely at the color or even how heavy it felt in hands. These actions came with confused expressions from the both males.
Harrison looked at them and then at the beef. "Uhm... Don't mind me, I have my preferences." And he went to other sections. Andrew and William tagging along as if two serious guards.
Then at the sharp objects section, Harrison grabbed a knife and started swishing it around, after that he stopped and just started at the metal. Both Andrew and William looked at each other with serious looks. "You seem rather comfortable with knifes." Said the one with hazel eyes.
"Ah, thank you. My mom was rather happy when I learned cooking." Ivanov quickly came up with a lie so nothing would seem suspicious. "And you, can you cook?" He asked, quite curious. William joined the conversation "I can, Andrew Is rather hopeless in kitchen." Schneider shoot him a glare. "I can frie an egg just fine."
Harrison smiled and nodded as if sarcastically saying 'yeah, yeah. I believe you.' He gripped the knife and placed it in his basket. "Do you want anything? I can buy it as a 'hello' gift." Laurent stared at the small guy. "A hello gift? What's that supposed to be?" Andrew nodded as if to agree. "Well it's like a gift for the start of our
acquaintance." Ivanov answered with a confused tone. "Don't tell me you never got something like that?" He sighed and turned to continue his walk.
Then Harrison accidentally bumped into a girl. "I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking-" but he froze when he realized who it was. "Wait, is that you HL?*" asked the girl. The boy looked at her annoyed but still felt really nervous with the two males behind him. "Juliette! It's been so long. Hows everything?"
"Haha! You know, since you left Russia it was soo boring that I myself moved here. It's fancy meeting you. But seriously, no one wanted to get me some fresh flesh-" Harrison unkindly covered her mouth. "What were you saying?" He asked her in a low voice and then pointed at the two guys behind him so she would understand to act less crazy.
Juliette gasped when she looked at William. "Ah! Mr. Laurent!!!" She said in high note. "Long time no see!" She added excitedly. William looked dumbfounded at her. "I beg your pardon?" "Oh that's right, we never actually met in person." Juliette giggled and glanced at Harrison. She nudgeted him on the side. "We just had a business with your father." Ivanov glared at her. "Who's we? I don't know him nor his father."
He stared at her annoyed and looked nervously at William. "She always says nonsense." But Juliette pouted. "But I really liked watching you skin someone-" Harrison yet again covered Juliette's mouth. "She's talking about some game." Then Andrew finally spoke. "You might not know me, ma'am. I'm Andrew Harry Schneider." He smiled slightly which was a rare sight.
Juliette gasped even louder now. "No way! You're the underworld prodigy detective who doesn't really follow justice!" Harrison face palmed, he really wanted to disappear right now, but of course couldn't. "Uh... I think the introduction is in order... This is Juliette Smith." He said quietly.
They both nodded in reunion as she smiled brightly. "So you're from...?" Asked William. "From America, but I lived in Russia since I was 4!" Laurent nodded as if to show that he understands. Then suddenly she placed her hand on Harrison's shoulder and declared.
"My friend here speaks fluent in Chinese, Russian, English and German." She snorted. "Hehe, I'm friends with a prodigy. Oh wait wait, French and Polish too, right???" Ivanov face palmed "sounds like a truth to me." He said tired. Andrew and William exchanged amused looks between them selves as Harrison tried to get rid of Juliette.
He pushed her away and whispered some Russian words into her ear, after that she laughed and left immediately. William shook his head with a smile. "Skin someone she said right?" Ivanov's face lost colors for a second. "Yeah, she's addicted to video games and every time we do something she has to tell everyone she knows." The short boy smiled awkwardly.
"Even tho you say it, she knew who we were. Not the basic, 'I heard your name somewhere.' More like she constantly heard rumors or gossips regarding us." Harrison sighed. "She's obsessed with handsome men, let her do what she does best, that is stalking." He said sarcastically.
(HL* - *read like separate letters* Harrison Leopold.)
[Fun fact, Andrew was supposed to be Smith at first but since he's half German I changed it to a different surname.]
