It's been a week since I transmigrated into this world, and a lot of things happened, and by a lot of things, I mean a lot. Going back to the present, the main character of the novel 'Till Death Do Us Apart' is now serving me as a personal escort. But the truth is, I know he's not a fully fledge knight, in fact, the way he was described in the novel was a complete opposite. So anyway after being rejected to meet the king for the eighth time, I'm on my way to the royal garden with my escort, the one and only. But still, if someone could get in the palace by the captain's recommendations, must mean that he probably also underwent training for maybe a day or two. For a moment I heard footsteps, but later on became numerous, and it's coming closer. A group of people covered in black robe circled on us unable to escape. Who are these people exactly?

"We have come to take your life, your highness hehe."

Said by one of the guys.

Suddenly there's an assassin?! And what's up with the corny line, it's ticking me off.

Oh my jeez, is this for real, but it's okay, I have an escort with me, so I'll be fine...

Before I could even ask Yuri for help, he was already crouched down to the ground helpless and afraid.

"What the hell?" I spoke without knowing,

Yuri, slowly looking at me, his hands trembling in fear. He gave me the look of a person that has never seen such fright.

Wait wait wait, this isn't right! Am I going to die here?! One of the guys surrounding us pulled out a knife and went in for the kill...

Well hell no, there's no way I'm dying here! With a swish and a bam, I kicked up his knife and turned to kick his face next. From the impact his whole face slammed to the wall crushing it into pieces, they're surprised, I was surprised too!

So actually, I know a bit of karate, and yeah I guess I go workout and stuff, but that was in my past life, so there's no way this body who looks like a talking fish bone would be able to do some stunt like that just because the soul is different!

With this knowledge and this strength, I can definitely put up a fight against these shady dudes! Then they proceed to attack me altogether with their knives... Yeah I said I can fight, but I never said I could win, I also need to protect Yuri at that. An escort being protected by the person he's escorting, ironic isn't?
