This is all your fault.

After a chaotic break, everyone returned to their classrooms.

Y/N was daydreaming again, but this time it wasn't about abs. It was about her bag.

That dumbass practically stole my bag, she thought, repeatedly stabbing her bear-shaped eraser with far more force than necessary.

Why is it gone? Because Jungkook has boxing practice, and apparently his coach is extremely strict. So, out of every bag in the classroom... he took mine. Why doesn't he just use his own?

A gentle tap landed on her shoulder.

"Y/N? The professor said we have to partner up for the assignment."

A nerdy-looking boy stood beside her, sounding hesitant.

"Sure, I'll hel..."

Before she could finish, Jungkook appeared.

"Move."

He didn't even spare the boy a glance.

The boy quietly gathered his things and hurried away.

"Missed me?" Jungkook asked with a smug grin as he dropped into the seat beside her.

Y/N scoffed.

"I miss my bag. Can I have it back now, or do I have to chase your bike again just to get it?"

"That's actually a brilliant idea. I didn't know you could form thoughts with that tiny brain of yours."

His eyes never left her.

"You've been hit in the head way too many times. I think my brain's developed a lot better than yours."

"That didn't even make sense," he muttered.

Before either of them could continue, their teacher stopped beside their desks.

"Talking during my lesson isn't allowed. And Jungkook, you already arrived late."

The teacher looked between the two of them.

"Both of you. My office after school."

Without another word, he walked away.

Y/N let out a quiet sigh.

Detention... Great. I get to spend an hour sorting paperwork because of him.

After School

Y/N sat in her usual seat while Jungkook slumped into the chair beside her.

The room was quiet.

Almost no one was listening to Mr. Son's long lecture about responsibility and good behaviour.

"Alright," Mr. Son finally said. "Start by organising those piles of worksheets."

He returned to marking papers.

Y/N immediately began sorting hers.

"Fifth of April..." she whispered as she made another pile.

"Ugh..."

Jungkook groaned dramatically, dropping his face into his hands.

"Why do you look so annoyed?" Y/N whispered. "You're the one who got us here."

Jungkook peeked at her through his fingers, watching her carefully organise the papers.

"If I don't leave now for training, I'm done."

She didn't look up.

"You only get four absences. This'll be my fifth."

There was genuine frustration in his voice.

"Shame," Y/N replied dryly.

"Shame? This is serious."

"Why are you telling me?"

Her tone stayed calm, even though this entire situation was his fault.

"Y/N."

He reached over and lightly grabbed her wrist, making her stop sorting for a second.

"You know I'm driving you home, right?"

"No."

She pulled her hand back.

"I'm going with Minhee."

"She left ages ago."

He stood up and picked up her bag before she could stop him.

"So we're leaving."

"What the hell? We can't just leave," she protested, keeping her voice low.

"Shh."

Jungkook nodded toward the front of the room.

"The door's behind us. Mr. Son's too busy marking."

Before she could argue again, Jungkook quietly pulled her toward the door.

Within seconds, the two of them had slipped out before anyone noticed.

It's me again... I'm going back to school soon so if I don't post every week or two please remind me so I remember when I have time...
