A deafening alarm echoed through the Crystal Castle.
Guards rushed across the shining halls, their silver armor reflecting the crimson light pouring in from the sky.
Lyra stood frozen.
"The Shadow Gate..." she whispered.
The mysterious boy stepped in front of her.
"Stay behind me."
Before Lyra could ask another question, a violent tremor shook the castle.
Dust drifted from the ceiling.
Then...
BOOM!
One of the enormous crystal windows shattered.
A cold black mist poured into the hall.
Inside the darkness, dozens of glowing red eyes slowly opened.
The guards raised their swords.
"Protect the Keeper!"
Lyra's heart raced.
"Keeper...? They're talking about me?"
The boy didn't answer.
Instead, he placed his hand on the silver key.
The key burst into brilliant light, forcing the shadows to retreat for a moment.
But from deep inside the black mist...
A calm, terrifying voice echoed through the hall.
"She has returned... and this time, she will not escape."
Every guard in the room fell silent.
The boy's face turned pale.
"He found you."
Lyra tightened her grip on the glowing key.
She had entered this strange kingdom searching for her forgotten name.
Instead...
She had awakened an enemy who had been waiting for her for centuries. The hall fell silent.
The silver key in Lyra's hand pulsed with light.
One by one, the shadow creatures lowered their heads.
The captain of the royal guards stared in disbelief.
"No one has ever commanded the shadows..." he whispered.
Kael stepped closer to Lyra.
"Listen carefully. From this moment, every choice you make will decide the fate of both worlds."
Before Lyra could answer, a crack of silver lightning split the sky above the castle.
An ancient voice echoed through the kingdom.
"The First Star Key has awakened."
A glowing map appeared in the air, revealing three distant locations.
Kael looked at the map, then at Lyra.
"Our journey begins tonight."
Lyra took a deep breath and nodded.
She had entered the Kingdom of Forgotten Names searching for her own identity.
Now...
She was about to uncover a secret that had been hidden for centuries.Lyra slowly reached out and touched the glowing map.
The moment her fingertips brushed against its surface, the map trembled. Three ancient symbols appeared, each marking a different corner of the kingdom.
Suddenly, one of the symbols burst into a brilliant golden light.
The entire hall was illuminated as the light stretched across the map like a shining path.
Kael stared at it in silence before speaking in a low voice.
"The First Star Key has chosen you."
Lyra looked at him in confusion.
"Chosen me? Why?"
Before Kael could answer, the enormous doors of the throne hall slowly opened.
A graceful woman dressed in a flowing silver gown stepped inside. A crystal crown rested upon her head, and every guard immediately bowed.
"The Queen..." Kael whispered.
The Queen walked toward Lyra, her expression calm yet filled with concern.
"The First Star Key lies deep within the Whispering Forest," she said. "For centuries, brave warriors have searched for it."
She paused.
"But no one who entered that forest has ever returned."
A heavy silence filled the hall.
Lyra looked directly into the Queen's eyes.
"Then why should I go?"
The Queen smiled sadly.
"Because only the Keeper can survive its whispers."
No one spoke another word.
Moments later, Lyra and Kael left the Crystal Castle and followed the glowing path shown by the map.
Far away...
Hidden behind the ancient trees, a girl wearing a black mask watched them in silence.
A mysterious smile appeared on her face.
"She finally found the map..."
Her eyes gleamed beneath the mask.
"...just as I planned."
Without making a sound, she disappeared into the shadows.
As evening fell, Lyra and Kael arrived at the entrance of the Whispering Forest.
The trees stood impossibly tall, their silver leaves moving even though there was no wind.
Lyra took a deep breath.
"This place feels... alive."
Kael nodded.
"It is."
Gathering her courage, Lyra stepped across the forest's ancient stone boundary.
The ground suddenly trembled.
Cracks spread across the earth.
A deafening rumble echoed through the forest.
In front of them, an enormous stone statue slowly began to move.
Dust fell from its ancient body as its glowing blue eyes opened.
The giant lowered its head and fixed its gaze on Lyra.
Then, in a voice that shook the entire forest, it spoke a single word...
"Keeper."
