The warehouse burned like a giant torch against the night sky.

Firefighters rushed toward the flames.

Police cars surrounded the area.

People watched from behind barricades, whispering to one another.

No one knew what had happened.

But someone did.

Before it had fully stopped moving, he jumped out and ran toward the burning building.

"CAL!" Cary shouted as she followed him.

A police officer stepped in front of the entrance.

Outside, Mason looked back at the burning warehouse.

"They knew we were here."

No one argued.

"The same way I lost everything years ago."

Victor frowned.

"Years ago?"
