A few weeks had passed since Aarna joined **XX College**.

College life had slowly become normal for her.

One afternoon, Aarna was walking through the corridor with her friends, talking and laughing.

She was distracted by the conversation when suddenly—

**Bump!**

Someone accidentally bumped into her.

“Oh, I'm sorry,” the girl said politely.

Aarna turned around.

The moment she saw her face, she became silent.

**It was Shasha.**

For a second, both of them stared at each other.

They recognized each other immediately.

They were relatives.

They had known each other for years.

But after a year without meeting, seeing each other again in college felt unexpected.

Shasha gave her a polite smile.

“Sorry, Aarna.”

Aarna quickly looked at her friends.

She didn't want them to know that Shasha was her relative.

So she pretended not to know her.

“It's okay,” Aarna replied casually.

Shasha understood.

She didn't question Aarna or make the situation uncomfortable.

She simply smiled.

“Okay. Sorry again.”

Then she walked away.

Aarna watched her disappear into the crowd.

For a moment, she stood there silently.

She hadn't expected to meet Shasha there.

### **Shasha in College**

Shasha had already become quite popular in the college.

She was known by many students, especially among the BCA students.

Her friendly nature and cheerful personality made it easy for people to approach her.

As Shasha walked through the corridor, several students greeted her.

She smiled and greeted them back.

But she didn't seem to think much about the encounter with Aarna.

For her, it was simply an unexpected meeting.

She continued with her day.

Arjun was sitting at his study table, reading his textbook.

He looked up when she entered.

“How was college?”

Aarna dropped her bag on the sofa.

“It was okay.”

She sat down for a moment.

Then she remembered what had happened.

“Arjun...”

He looked at her.

“What?”

“I met someone today.”

“Who?”

Aarna paused.

Then she said,

**“Shasha.”**

The moment Arjun heard her name, everything around him seemed to become quiet.

His hand stopped moving.

His eyes widened slightly.

“Shasha?”

Aarna nodded.

“She is studying in our college.”

Arjun couldn't believe what he had just heard.

After an entire year without seeing her...

She was suddenly in the same college as his sister.

“Which course?” he asked quietly.

“BCA.”

Arjun looked down at his book.

But he wasn't reading anymore.

Memories began rushing back into his mind.

The family function.

The first time he saw her.

The family trip.

Her smile.

Their small conversations.

Everything he had tried to push into the back of his mind suddenly returned.

A small smile appeared on his face.

Aarna noticed it.

“Why are you smiling?”

Arjun immediately controlled his expression.

“Nothing.”

Aarna looked at him suspiciously.

“You've been acting strange ever since I said her name.”

Arjun quickly opened his book.

“I'm studying. Don't disturb me.”

Aarna shook her head and walked away.

But Arjun remained lost in his thoughts.

For the first time in a year, he felt something he hadn't felt for a long time.

**Hope.**

Shasha was no longer just a distant memory.

She was somewhere close.

And maybe...

just maybe...

he would see her again.
