THE DAY MY ORDINARY LIFE ENDED
Panel 1 — The Dark Sky
The sky above Solaris Grand Academy suddenly turned black.
A gigantic magical circle covered the entire city.
Students looked upward in fear.
Student 1:
“What is happening?!”
Student 2:
“Is this an attack?!”
The academy’s emergency alarms began ringing.
DING! DING! DING!
The instructors immediately ordered the students to evacuate.
Instructor:
“Everyone! Stay calm!”
But the students were already panicking.
Adryan stood silently in the middle of the training ground.
His eyes were fixed on the sky.
He could feel the presence.
A familiar killing intent.

“…They’re here.”
Kael looked at him.

“Who?”

Then his eyes stopped on Adryan.

“There you are.”
Everyone froze.
Adryan’s expression became cold.

The masked man smiled.

“Adryan Qawwiy.”
Silence.
The entire training ground went quiet.
Kael slowly turned toward Adryan.
Elara’s eyes widened.
Students began whispering.

“Qawwiy…?”

“Isn’t that the legendary family?”
Adryan closed his eyes.

Adryan clenched his fists.

Adryan remained silent.

He nodded.

“Yes.”
Elara looked at him for a moment.
Then she smiled.
Elara:
“Okay.”
Adryan blinked.
Adryan:
“That’s it?”
Elara:
“What else am I supposed to say?”
She looked toward the enemy.
Elara:
“You’re still Adryan.”
Adryan was speechless.
Kael suddenly stepped forward.
Kael:
“Then I’m staying too.”
Adryan looked at him.
Adryan:
“Kael, this isn’t a game.”
Kael smiled.
Kael:
“I know.”
He raised his fists.
Kael:
“That’s why I’m staying.”

The masked man raised his hand.
Masked Man:
“Kill everyone who stands in our way.”
The cloaked soldiers attacked.
BOOM!
Magic exploded across the training ground.
Students screamed.
Teachers immediately activated defensive spells.
Elara raised her hand.
A massive barrier appeared.
Elara:
“Everyone behind me!”
Adryan looked around.
Dozens of students were trapped.
He sighed.
Adryan:
“I really wanted a normal school life…”
He stepped forward.
Adryan:
“But I guess that’s impossible now.”

One of the attackers charged toward Adryan.
Enemy:
“Die!”
He swung his sword.
Adryan caught the blade with two fingers.
CLANG!
The attacker froze.
Enemy:
“What…?”
Adryan looked at him.
His eyes turned completely black.
A dark aura spread across his body.
Adryan:
“You should’ve stayed away.”
He pushed the sword away.
BOOM!
The enemy was sent flying across the training ground.
The ground cracked beneath Adryan’s feet.
Everyone stared.
Kael’s jaw dropped.
Kael:
“…Okay.”
He smiled.
Kael:
“That’s definitely not normal.”

Three enemies attacked simultaneously.
Fire.
Lightning.
Wind.
All three spells flew toward Adryan.
Adryan raised his hand.
A black sphere appeared in his palm.
Adryan:
“Destruction.”
The moment the sphere touched the incoming attacks—
Everything disappeared.
Not exploded.
Not burned.
Not deflected.
Simply…
erased.
The battlefield became silent.
Elara stared at him.
Elara:
“That isn’t ordinary magic…”
The masked man smiled beneath his mask.
Masked Man:
“Beautiful.”
Adryan looked at him.
Masked Man:
“The power that can erase anything.”
Adryan’s expression became cold.
Adryan:
“You know too much.”

The masked man slowly removed his mask.
A scar crossed his face.
Adryan’s eyes widened.
He recognized him.

“…You’re still alive?”
The man smiled.
Masked Man:
“It’s been a long time, Prince Adryan.”
Kael looked at Adryan.
Kael:
“Prince?”
Elara’s eyes widened.
The masked man laughed.
Masked Man:
“Your father may have hidden you from the world…”
He pointed toward Adryan.
Masked Man:
“But your existence alone is enough to threaten every Kingdom.”
Adryan’s aura grew stronger.
Adryan:
“Leave my friends out of this.”
The man’s smile disappeared.
Masked Man:
“Then come with us.”
Adryan stared at him.
Adryan:
“No.”
The man raised his hand.
Masked Man:
“Then we’ll take you by force.”

Panel 9 — The Beginning of the Battle
The masked man released an enormous wave of magical energy.
The entire academy shook.
BOOOOOOM!
Adryan stepped forward.
Dark energy gathered around his right hand.
Kael stood beside him.
Elara stood on his other side.
Adryan looked at both of them.
Adryan:
“You two…”
Kael grinned.
Kael:
“Don’t even say it.”
Elara smiled.
Elara:
“We’re staying.”
Adryan looked at them.
For the first time since arriving at Solaris…
He realized something.
Maybe a normal life wasn’t about having no enemies.
Maybe…
A normal life was about having people worth protecting.
Adryan slowly raised his hand.
The ground beneath him began to crack.
His eyes turned black.
Adryan:
“Then…”
He looked toward the masked man.
Adryan:
“Let’s finish this.”
