Shortcut route

The sitting plan in our room is divided into two groups. I am sitting at the front row, near the board (left side) but I didn’t expect that My mysterious guy is sitting at the opposite side as of mine (right side) and also where the front door can be seen. When you go outside using the front door, move 60-70 degrees, I can see the nearest canteen that I ever had. But fortunately, unfortunately, I am not planning on using the front door as it feels so awkward to pass in front of your classmates whom you don’t even know. So, I decided to always use the back door for the whole academic year even though it takes few steps to be able to buy in the neighboring canteen, at least I am safe from unnecessary stares and awkward moments with them (referring to my classmates sitting in my opposite direction).

First day of school, I am still excited because of unknown reasons but most importantly, the canteen is located right before our room and that was probably one of the reasons. But, after a week of the new academic year, it’s not exciting anymore. Every snack time, I thought I can buy freely at the canteen, but I didn’t expect that there are many students who also buys there as it is the nearest canteen at our location. Even viands, I thought I can freely buy chicken thighs every lunchtime but every time I ask the storekeeper about extra fried chicken thighs, I always hear the same reply, “I’m sorry, it’s all taken.”

“What should I do!!!”, grieving for fried chicken thighs inside the classroom.

“Why? You don’t get any of it? Breasts? Wings? Nothing?”, asked Amber.

“The storekeeper gave me the same reply, ‘I’m sorry it’s all taken’. What should I do. I can’t eat without any meat. Help me.”, continue grieving.

“Here, let’s share.”, Kim offered.

“Boohoo, thank you so much, Kim. You’re my lifesaver.”

And at that time, I broke my route plan. Because of thinking about meat opportunity, I accidentally used the front door to go in the canteen, praying for vengeance to get a piece of fried chicken thighs but sadly, I’m very unfortunate.

School gate

We already got in the school gate. Kim rushed at the bundog’s stall while waiting for them at the sidewalk of the school. I lost the traces of My mysterious guy while enduring my starvation. I get my water bottle and drank all the waters from it until it’s all empty.

Then suddenly, a bunch of students passed in front of me. I am not interested in making eye contacts to every stranger but at that time, when someone makes an eye contact on me, I stare at him blankly. Then, they left.

“What’s wrong with him? Or was it me?”, I asked myself consciously.

“What’s the matter, May?”, asked Kim.

“Nothing. I guess I’m facing death, I need a bite of your bundog.”, while giving her a hungry face.

“Hmmmmm, okay here, just a little, understand?”

Then, I bite. It’s so yummy, the combination of the chili sauce and the hotdog is insane, and the bread makes me full abruptly. Unfortunately, I consumed all my water so, more sufferings.

We slowly took our leave and got home safely after a long day in the school.
