Prologue

Hi, my name is Beauty, Beauty Eli. You probably guessed why my parents named me beauty, but don't be too fast to make judgments. You know how everyone is given a name to represent how they were born or their most charming feature or even because of the situation around their birth, let's look at the Disney princesses, snow white, Cinderella, Belle and others.. you should know them. You can tell easily with their names their story and what they look like. But my case is different, why?, because my parents named me Beauty because they felt it will make me prettier because I was born UGLY.

To be honest, I've never really hated the fact that I was born ugly, the only thing i've hated the most in my life is my name because that is what draws attention to me. Whenever someone calls my name in public or the teacher calls my name for class attendance, everyone turns to see how pretty I am for me to be named Beauty but they always end up laughing or irritated or smirking because of the whole irony.

My parents often try to make me look at the bright side of life but that won't make me look prettier or change my name or fight off the bullies who bully me almost everyday of My life. Oh I almost forgot to introduce my family. I have two parents, obviously.. and An older brother and sister who look nothing like me. When we go out together everyone asks if we are related. My dad's name is Jonathan Eli and My Mom, Kate Eli. My brother's name is Mason and My sisters Name is May. I look nothing like My Family. You know how all these recessive gene stuff works like when you look like your relative, your grandparents or just someone from the extended family yeah? well for me I look like great grandma Felicia, my partanal great grandma. The history is a long one so i'll leave it for later.

I'll be turning sixteen soon and I'll be entering high school along with my best friends on September the nineteen. And trust me I'm not ready for it. The only thing I have heard so far during the Summer break is Emily and Mi Cha singing and dancing around about how they can't wait for the first day of high school, Lowkey I'm not ready at all. Middle School wasn't the best trust me. But I really Appreciate Emily's and Mi cha's presence in my life, they always help me fight off bullies or get bullied as well. We grew up together and often times they always make me feel good about myself. You know how there is always a Duff among friends, well I'm supposed to be the duff but unfortunately I'm worse than a Duff...lol.

The only place I feel safe is with my Family and friends because they always call my name with a smile and it means a lot to me.

My life isn't so Beautiful, I wish I can change my name...........
