First Day Of HighSchool

Hi, my name is beauty, today is the first day of high school and I’m not ready for it. On your first day of high school it is a family tradition to take family pictures.

 It is such a mess down stairs, mom is trying her best to make the fastest breakfast so that we can eat in a gulp and still take the pictures and still go to school early, while dad is fixing the camera and spot. I have no idea what Mason is doing right now but for sure May is probably fixing her makeup, according to her, she must look pretty on her first day of school after the summer break because she doesn’t want to jinx her school year.

 I’m not the type to wear makeup because it always draws unnecessary attention like the one time I tried it and I heard someone say something about me looking ugly and still wearing makeup. Well that was the last time I tried it.

“Hey Beauty what is taking so long”, mom said as she tried to gulp the orange juice all at once. At this point I realized that there is no escape for me at all.

“Mom I’ll be right there”, I said with a fake enthusiasm. I ran down stairs and ate my breakfast in a snap. “I’m ready for the photograph, but Mason and May do not seem ready, mom” I nagged but mom already caught on what my plan was.

  “Mason and May come down right now”, mom yelled.

“Listen to your mom”. dad muttered.

“Fine I’m on my way, “she murmured as she came down stairs. “Can’t you guys let me perfect my makeup, I don’t even want breakfast”

“We don’t care just come let’s get done with this already” I said and everyone seemed to agree with me.

I must say when May walked down the stairs it felt like the true meaning of beauty flashed through my eyes. May has always been known for her stunning beauty. Her green eyes complimented her butterscotch hair and her pale but not so pale skin. I would be lying if I say I have not even once been envious of her.

“You guys are making a deal out of nothing, Mason is not even down yet” May said as she walked into the living room.

   “I'm down already sis” Mason said as he walked into the living room. Although Mason and May are twins they don’t have the best relationship at least that is what they think. Mason is as pretty as May, green eyes with butterscotch hair and pale but not so pale skin. His physique is hot as well, tall but not lanky he also works out a lot no wonder he is in the football team. It’s quite obvious they are twins.

We finally took the photo and headed straight to school. What I imagined was different from what I saw. People were everywhere. It was like a different universe on its own.

   “Mom can I go back home now? I think I will ready for high school tomorrow”

“Stop being a cry baby, high school doesn’t bite”, May said as she hopped off the car immediately she saw her bffs.

“Don’t listen to her you will be alright my perfect baby”, Mason said as he squeezed my chicks so hard and waved good bye.

“Hey, that’s child abuse”. I muttered

“You will be fine sweetheart, have fun while you can”, mom said as I came out of the car.

“Bye mom, bye dad”. What felt like a dream now feels too real to believe as I watched mom drive off. I stood there thinking of what next do until I heard someone scream my name.
