Chapter 1: The Dress Maker

3rd Person POV

*At the towns tavern

"Alex, shouldn't you be on your working place right now?" said Zephyr, her dear best friend.

"Zeph, am I a bad sister?" ask alexandra, still drinking her glass with full of alchohol.

"So this is all about your brother again huh?" Zephyr sighed and ordered one glass of wine.

Alex is out of shape lately because of what happened to her brother. She is so damn worried about him.

But all her brother thinks is just to cause a massive head pain to his sister.

"Then what happen? Did he ask something again? What he wants?" ask the friend who is getting curious at the same time mad.

"Isn't it too much? He always ask for the things he knew you can't afford. Gosh, he's so rude!" frustrated Zephyr muttered.

"It's not that" Alex interfered. Completely defensive for her brother.

"Then what? You already know that he wants to be a warrior, can't you just accept it? He's already a grownup man." said her best friend.

All the time, even when they're still kids, his brother always admires warriors. To the point that he acts like one. Brave and strong, always in favor of the mankind.

He always tells her about the warriors march at the forest, about their keen and long swords and everything about them.

"I'm just worried. As a sister without parents, he is my responsibility. I made a promise to my parents to always look for him, to love him and to always take care of him. He is my everything Zeph, to the point that I'm willing to sacrifice my life just to make sure he will be out of danger. Is it wrong? Is it bad? Did I do something that makes him mad?" Alex uttered with a shaking voice.

She cried. She can't contain the emotions rushing on her mind.

You hopeless woman. You're really love your brother so much. How can I be like you? - Zephyrs' thought

"Quit the drama. I thought you're strong? If you really love him that much, all you have to do is to support him. You can't do anything anything about it anymore. He is no longer the kid you take care before." said Zephyr and finished the glass of drink.

"Let's go back. Damn woman, it's still early in morning and you're drunk! Can't you be any wreckless?" as Zephyr stands up and guided the drunk Alex.

"Zephyr my friend~ you're so beautiful. Can you pay for the drinksss? Hmmmm? Pweaseee??~" slurred voice of Alex asking for her friend to pay for the drinks.

"You woman! If you want to drink, don't involve me! I'm also broke!" Zephyr complained and grabs money.

*And why the heck did I even followed her here?!

Right! It's a friends' love and instinct*.

Zephyr grabs her right arm and guided her to the door.

"CAN YOU WALK PROPERLY?! YOU MAKES ME STUMBLE IN EVERY STEP! DAMN!" irritated Zephyr but still holding the half-dead Alex.

What do I expect? She's drunk! How can she walk properly in those 12 glasses of drinks?! You're really smart as fuc* Zephyr - Zephyrs' thought.

While walking, Zephyr struggled on holding her friend. They're still away from the shop and Zephyr is devastatingly exhausted.

"And why the heck your shop is so far away from that place?" Zephyr muttered, still catching for breath.

It's because Alex is smart. She choose to pick a place where customers barely reach. Damn! Her place is so far from the Town! - Zephyrs' thoughts.

Zephyr saw a nearest small hut and decided to rest a bit since she's exhausted. She removed Alexs' arms at her shoulder and made Alex laid down on the wooden floor.

She took a glance at sleeping Alex and sighed.

"I envy you. How can you love someone deeply even though they don't mind on losing someone like you." Zephyr sighed and look at her surroundings.

That's why I'm so lucky to have you as my friend. Even in the darkest vain I experienced, you're always there to take it away from me. - Zephyrs' thought.

As Zephyr admiring the view of people passing, there is a one old man came close to her.

"Is she your friend?" the man took a glance at sleeping Alex and asked.

"Isn't it obvious?" she fire back.

Then the man look at her and give her a warm smile.

"Both of you are gifted, maybe not now but in the future." said the man then leave them.

Zephyr glance at Alex who is sleeping and immediately look at the old man who is nowhere to be seen.

"That man is weird." out of the world Zephyr says.

*Maybe that man is saying the truth. As for Alex, she is a hardworking woman with dedication to do everything just to survive for her brother.

While me, I'm just waiting for money to come along in my way. How can I be gifted? After all I'm just a run away maid of the noble family who abuses me sexually.

Alex is rude and easily loses her temper but she is different if we say about love. She is beyond more beautiful if she can dress well.

She is the Juliet that Romeo admires.

She is a princess who deserves a prince*.
