Part 2

With both parties being satisfied, they shook hands and Joseph Klen went to his own direction. As the back of the old man slowly fades from his perspective, Aaron's smile that was plastered on his face was now replaced with a cold, stern expression.

He sat back down, an exhausted sighed left his mouth. He thought about the deal that he made today and, although he was not fully interested in the idea nor the person, he couldn't help but smile at the thought of meeting that hag's daughter. With a push of a button on his office's phone, his secretary came into his office.

"Did the meeting went well, sir?" He asked as he stood in front of his boss.

"Yes, I secured the deal." He grinned afterwards, turned his chair around and made eye contact with his secretary. "And guess what, Alex? I got another proposal at that."

The sky was getting darker; clouds of grey and pitter patter of rain could be seen from the distant, at the opposite end of the sky, slowly coming towards the direction of the city they were looking down on.

"I'll tell Silver about it myself. I think I've told you before but," He looked back at his secretary and gave him a smile, tilting his head to the right. "You don't have to deal with problems concerning my relationship with my wife."

A shiver ran down Alex's spine. He knew his boss was just trying to remind him, but somehow whenever he saw the boss smile, it always felt sinister. Like something unpleasant was about to happen. But of course, he shrugged this feeling off and nodded as a response.

"Let's get going then. Place a reservation on that French restaurant I've went to." He quickly took his coat from his chair and slicked his hair back as he made his way out of his office, his secretary following him behind and did what he was told to do.

"Ah, and please prepare an umbrella for me." He said before entering his car. "Seems it's going to be a cold and damp night,"
