Part 4

They stayed in their cuddled position for a few minutes. Silence engulf the room. Only the storm from outside, the ticking of the clock and their exhausted breaths were heard. That was until a screeching scream of a girl came mixing in the silence.

It was a bit fading, probably only people with great hearing could hear it against this thundering weather. And among those people were the married couple themselves. The woman clicks her tongue, and sat up. Irritated by the sudden disturbance.

"Calm down," He held on to her hips, calming her down with soft kisses on the back of her nape. "I'll shut her up, so you go ahead and take a bath."

With just those words, the tension on her body left and she looked back at him with a smile. "Don't go all out on her," She warned, giving one of her special French kisses before she stood up and prepared for her relaxation in the bath tub.

The husband's satisfied smirk immediately turned to a scowl after her wife went in the bathroom. Annoyance was plastered on his face as he took a bath robe and made his way downstairs.

He stopped in front of the bookshelf near the staircase, reaching for the marbled statue of a silver rose and pulling it down, which shifts the bookshelf to the left and revealing a hidden passageway towards the basement.

The screams were getting more and more louder as he went down the stairs before stopping in front of a metal door. The air was damp due to the rain and the place felt humid. He switched his bathrobe with a plastic apron that was hanging on the side of the wall near the door and took a baseball bat with him before going inside.

As he walked in, the girl that screamed stopped and shivered in fear when she heard his footsteps. She was blind folded and didn't have any clothes on, chained on both her arms and legs and bruises were seen covering her body. The man circled around her, making her more agitated and anxious.

"I really did try to take it down a notch on you today," He stopped in front of her, placing the tip of the bat on the ground and made it seem as if it was a cane. "If I didn't accept your father's proposal, I might have lost the business deal that my company had worked hard on to obtain, and that's a definite disadvantage you see,"

He crouched down to her level and stroke a strand of her hair behind her ears, making the girl to flinch by the sudden action. She started sobbing and her tears and snot were dripping down her face.

"Please don't kill me..." She pleaded between her sobs. "I'll do anything, just please... please release me,"

The man laughed in amusement by her words. "You're really something, huh?" He took the girl by the hair and dragged her to the walls behind them, making the chains around her wrist and ankles to tighten. "Well, I suppose I expected this,"

He licked his fingers and brushed it on the tip of her lips, which made the other person to shiver in fear. Every movement he made on her gave goosebumps on her skin, and it petrified her.

"Like father, like daughter I suppose. Both of you always have ways to interrupt my relationship with my wife," He angled her head at a certain position before standing up, placing the bat at a swinging position. "I hate people who sniffs around in our business."

He swung the bat on her head, releasing the anger from his body towards the force of the bat. Droplets of blood splattered in a few places, and the girl fell on the cold cement ground with a thud. He wiped away a few of the blood that splattered on his face before throwing the bat on the other side of the room, placed his now bloodied apron on a sink nearby and went back upstairs with his bathrobe towards their bedroom.

He opened the bathroom door to see his wife already submerge in the hot, steaming tub. He watches as she caress her milky white skin with the scented water, her medium-long black and silver highlighted hair falling down her face, and when her hazel eyes met with his, he quickly took off his robe and joined her in the tub, attacking her with a passionate kiss.
