2. The night Neil's POV

"I better get going, mom, must be angry, i even left julie alone with uncle leonardo, i hope they reached home safe"..,

Where were you, at this hour? , asked mom, angrily.

Mom ..i..,

"Aii..yya..ii, mom, my ear hurt"

"Oh now it hurts?, look at all those bruises in ur legs ,how did u get that?, asked my mom , angrily pinching my ear hard.

"I just fell down during the parade show, and it doesn't hurt at all", i lied.

"And How about , u explain why u leave julie alone ? , if Mr.Leonardo did not bring her back, she could have gotten lost."..growled my mom.

"No! mom, i only went to pee after we met uncle leonardo and after that i got lost",...i explained everything to her except for the kiss part.

"Go and wash up, I'll get the first aid kit".. Make sure u apologise to Aunt Sarah tommorow, she was getting anxious when julie came back alone".

"Ouch it hurts mom"..i moaned in pain..as my mom applied medicine to the wound.

"U ,were so brave earlier, what happened to all the manliness?"..she mocked me enjoying pleasure in my pain.

"Argh..i can't sleep at all, why do i keep thinking about her"..

"Would i ever meet her again"..

Eve's POV

How many times have i told u not to wander around ? ..scolded father slightly angry.

"Its okay honey! we found her safe and sound, interrupted Mrs.Bethy.

Don't keep taking her side, ur the one making her spoiled.. he replied.

Its okay she's our daughter, she also likes to play around like other kids just give her own time...

Listening to this endless conversation was making me tired.

"I want to reach home soon and go to bed."

I could see familiar surroundings as we drove nearer the alley leading towards home.

I'm going ahead..i told dad.

Oh ! wait!..no.. never mind he replied.

I knew what he was gonna say.

He must have wanted to tell me about her pregnancy. I over heard their conversation the other day.

It must have not been easy to talk about that to me.

I went inside my room and laid on the bed.

I raised my right hand towards ceiling and measured the arms of fans with my fingers..i continued with my one eye closed until my hand was tired.

It was sad..I wanted someone to be beside me. I cleared my throat and swallowed. I closed my eyes but tears dripped from my eyes.

i miss u dad..why won't u hold me anymore..i don't want to be alone..i want u to hug me and ask me if im alright..im scared dad..im sorry i went missing..i just wanted u to worry about me too..i just wanted to...
