The Feeling Of Hiraeth

The bubbly substance sizzled in the tall champagne glass as she held it in between her delicate fingers. Guests couldn't help but steal a glance at the stunning woman who stood in one corner of the ballroom. Much to their dismay, a handsome gentleman was already by her side.
The gentleman sported a custom tailored black suit. He adorned a red handkerchief in his left chest-pocket, and a tie in the same color. His companion, the lady, wore a long-sleeved evening gown in creamy white, which complimented just the right curves of her figure. Golden embroidery trailed down her back, giving the dress a bit more accent.
Dazzling jewels and diamonds decorated her necks and attire. The 4-inch pumps in rose red matched the shiny rubies hung around her neck. And her eyes... The crimson orbs shone just as bright as her necklace, sharp and fierce. Her long thick lashes would surely make anyone jealous. Ebony black threads held up by a traditional pin loosely, a few strands gone astray and hung around the side of her face.
She stood close to the man.
He was as equally appealing as her. Their hair and eyes were the same shade, indicating that perhaps they were siblings. Twins at that.
The couple whispered incoherent words to one another as if they were speaking in another language. Even a spy wouldn't be able to figure out whatever they were discussing all the while looking like God-sent angels from heaven.
The clock was ticking and the night was coming to an end.
They had what they came for, and they were ready to leave.
Well, only if it weren't for someone keeping their eyes on the duo, that is. The girl whispered to her companion,
"I think it's about time we leave, love." she put away the glass as she said so while one of her hands snaked around the man's shoulders. Trailing down his right arm, and holding his hand. It was warm, just the way she liked.
"I suppose so\~" a sly smirk played on his lips as he pulled his companion closer to himself and held her by the waist. He then shot a coy look at someone across the ballroom. She looked back and her eyes followed his sight as it landed on a man glaring back at them.
Although he looked fairly young, he was quite well-built.
A ravenette in full black he was, except that the tie around his neck was a fine wine red. Parts of his hair covered the right side of his face, giving him a leisurely look. Perhaps he went all day with a bedhead? Certainly.
From the looks of things, he seemed to know the girl's companion. Maybe their relationship wasn't quite the best. Because, if looks could kill, the handsome man beside her would be six feet under by now.
She checked her smartwatch and clicked something on it. "We're finished." she smiled.
He hummed in response, eyes still on the man in black. "Then let us depart, sister." he kissed the back of her hand as he held it up so that it would be in line of sight with his acquaintance.
She chuckled. "Of course, brother."
The assumed brother bowed a bit as a way of saying goodbye to the stranger across the room before escorting his sister out the exit.
Tonight was a success as they had stolen a hefty amount of money. Probably, this was their largest sum yet. But alas, both siblings were tired as they had been in that awful place for much longer than it was to their liking.

Motorcycles. A fine choice of transportation since it's fast and small. Easy to take care of, easy to hide.
Their motorcycles were almost the only thing they owned to themselves.
"Built from scratch. From nothing to something." the girl likes to say.
The only way to distinguish them were the size. His was a bit bigger and hers were a bit smaller.
They hopped on to each of their rides and pushed in their keys into the ignition. Twisting it, the engine started with a roar. After a bit, the noise died down and they gained their speed, leaving the building and onto the highway.

Arriving at their little hideout in the subtle part of town, they had everything packed and ready to go. Since, after all, tonight was their last heist... in the United States, that is.
In about approximately 19 hours they would be enjoying the sun in Japan, with their toes in the sand.
They changed into something more casual and gathered the little stuff they had. All the previous junk–the fancy clothing, and jewelry– were to be left behind as if they were new. After all, they didn't want anyone tracking them down.
"Shall we?" the male held a hand out the his younger sibling as he held the window open. Of course, for criminals with a bounty on their head, escaping through the window was the best course of action.
Leaving through the doors would just leave too much evidence.
The girl hummed. "We shall."
