Carlton McFlare.
Hearing that name would send shivers down the spine of anyone who knew him. The notorious enemy of police inforcements and wealthy businessmen. Known as the Devil Hawk among sinners of the underground.
Two of the few people who know him personally are the twins. Mcflare owed a lot to them. The duo once saved him during a robbery.
He was after Carter's Despair Diamond, one of the most expensive jewelries ever made. Shaped like a tear drop, color as deep as the blue ocean, and worth over 180 million dollars.
Carter was looking for a buyer for the necklace. So, they set up a grand Gala and invited Kiki Shimmer, who is a famous fashion model.
Unfortunately for them, McFlare had heard of this and was preparing to steal it from right under their noses.
He had a team of 11 men. His right hand man was Sam Terrasi, the Escape Monster.
And so, the night of their robbery had begun. Everything was going as planned until...
Well...
Police had somehow found out that McFlare and his men were there.
They had only one picture of him on his file. So it was a game of hide and seek with hundreds of people, without knowing what the hider looked like.
One of the police force, being Tom Oliver, has been after McFlare for his whole career. He is exceptionally talented in his field of work, catching many wanted criminals, including Karlston Turner, Benjamin Kou, and Nishi Yuu, who were part of the underground crime organization Murder Crows.
Yet, he just couldn't get near McFlare. The man would be right at the tip of his hands, and yet he would be as far as a few thousand miles away. Literally.
And so, Oliver was at the grand ball, on the hunt for McFlare, using a picture that featured barely the third of the robber's identity as reference.
The twins were there, too. Observing as the criminal mastermind did his work with his men. The problem was that they were having trouble replacing the necklace with a fake.
Unforeseen obstacles occurred as there were more than one bodyguard by Miss Shimmer's side.
Four armed men in black. Members of the Murder Crows criminal organization, Ruke Tiffany, Danny Saltman, Nishi Yuu, and Shoen Himleton.
Quite the combination, they were.
Time was running out and Oliver was getting more and more suspicious of the tall man with olive green eyes who kept glancing at him.
And so, for the fun of it, barely a second before Oliver caught Mcflare, the twins walked up to him.
"Give us the fake, we'll swap it for ya." they said. The cornered criminal played dumb and asked whatever they meant. And so they replied by telling him their identity.
The Yin Yang twins.
His eyes went wide as his assumptions were correct. The infamous little thieves stood before him, offering help.
It was a dicey move, but he didn't have any other choice than to let the peculiar siblings help him. If they were to commit treason, he would just silence them. Well, after escaping prison-time that is.
And so, the twins managed to replace the necklace and only god knows how they did it with 4 men from Murder Crows in the way. Well, at least things went back on track in Mcflare's department.
If he had been caught, he would've been dead meat for sure.
The reason this man and the twins' relationship is explained, is because, well... the two were on their way to see him about now.

"You know..." a deep voice started from the entrance of the room, seeing the oh-so-familiar twins sitting on his couch. "You could've just come in through the main gate like normal people... Not sneak in through my windows and wait in my bedroom..." Mcflare sighed. "You kids are such a handful."
"Hey! Who are you calling kids?!" Yang extorted, pointing a finger at the man in accusation. "We're almost twenty, thank you very much." he huffed and crossed his arms.
"When did you arrive? I could've sent a driver to pick you guys up from the airport." Mcflare went to sit in the armchair beside the couch.
"Tch, ignoring me like always." he mumbled. He had quite a disheartened look on his face, which Mcflare took notice of. "We came about two hours ago."
"I see. What brings you to my manor, though?" he inquired, raising a brow as he looked between the two, expecting an answer.
They stayed silent a bit longer than considered normal. One tried to speak up, but it was futile as the words got stuck in her throat.
"W-We..." the girl spoke up weakly.
"We're leaving." Yang finished her sentence, to her relief. She wouldn't have been able to say it.
"Where to?"
"No. Not as in where to. We're leaving this field of work. We're starting over before it's too late. We..." his eyes trailed up from the floor and met Mcflare's widened ones for the first time today. "We're going to build a home for ourselves."
The older man sat in silence for a bit. But after a bit a while of thinking, he nodded. "I understand." he said.
"We were just dropping by to say our farewells. We might not see each other again." Yin sighed.
"Plus, we don't want the Aoba Jhousai Swat team on our tail, just cause that Oikawa bastard has been desperately pursuing you to no end." Yang grinned, the teasing quite vivid in his tone.
"Why is he so determined on catching you, though?" the younger one inquired. Mcflare shrugged.
"With his skills, he should've joined me when I sent him various invitations. He's not suited to be in the investigators department. I think quite highly of him, although he's my rival."
The twins made noise of affirmation. They actually agreed with him. Tom Oliver is a formidable foe. An individual with high intelligence, and a bit of a... let's just say peculiar personality for someone at his level.
"You two should've joined me as well."
A memory played in the back of Yin's head as he said so. After the Despair Diamond had been successfully snatched, Mcflare invited the twins to his mansion for dinner. That's when they found out the criminal was actually a mafioso. And he was the boss.
It was quite unusual. Since after all, the boss' job is to stay hidden and get the money. Keep things rolling. But Mcflare, the boss of Onii-Shiratori, was working with his capos and completing missions by himself.
"Onii-Shiratori." he said back then at the fancy dinner table. "Join me and my men."
Spoons dropped and mouths went agape. The current members were astonished as how their boss just invited two little kids into the group.
She discarded the memory from her mind as fast as it surfaced.
"You know the answer is still no, ya know." Yang spoke up. "We work only with each other. Plus, as you can see, we're leaving for good."
"Hmm. Well, if you change your mind, tell me anytime." his usual monotone voice sounded.
"Sure will." the male twin smirked. "Anyways, I think it's about time we head over to our hotel."
"I'll call on one of my men to drive you." he said as all of them stood up. The two accepted his offer and they all went to the main gate of the Onii-Shiratori Mansion.
