Chapter 1: God hasn't left my side

I never knew nor thought I'd share such a story of my life. But, I guess life is unpredictable. My name is May Heart, I am 16 years old and just got my driver's license. I worked at a clothing store in England, called Harlem's. I was simply walking out if my family's home, for school. As usual, I got in my car, went to get coffee, and drove to Harlem's.

After work though, something happened that changed my life forever. My father has always been in debt, and has many people after him, I guess since he never played off the debt, I was the target. I remember having someone put a weird cloth over my mouth in the stores storage room, while I was getting the clothes in there to out on the mannequins. Next thing I knew, I was in somewhere else entirely.

I woke up, and was in this magnificent room. The walls were a cream color, and had beautiful wall trim all across it, the bed I was on had the finest cloth I'd ever felt. I was so confused. Where was I? I saw a large mirror to the left of my bed, and to my surprise, I wasn't the May Heart I knew. I was someone else.. Literally.

My brown hair was gone, and now I had blond hair?! My skin was as white as snow, and my eyes were a color of purple. I was so bewildered. What had happened to me? I noticed I was wearing a beautiful white lace night gown. To my surprise, I saw bouquets of beautiful flowers, and gifts on the table across from the bed, interested, I walked over to see them, but it was strange, They were labeled, "To Princess Gloriana Heart Hunstinglay." I looked at the mirror, and back to the gifts. Then suddenly, it all ,made sense. Footsteps suddenly echoed the halls of this place, and the room I was in.

A girl in a neat yet plain dress and shoes with dark pink hair in a bun, came in and said, "Here doctor, as you can see her highness is still asleep-" to my surprise, she looked at me and happiness filled her eyes. She ran to me and hugged me, saying, "Your highness! Your awake! Ah!- Dr. Polon, please check the princess to see if she is alright!" I assumed the doctor or whomever the man was, was Dr. Polon. He had me sit down and did a check up on me, while the girl frantically watched while playing around with her fingers. The man looked a little worried and said, "Miss Willow, I believe your princess has gotten amnesia from falling into the ocean.."

The girl in the room whom I assumed was Willow said, "OpWhat?! H-How will his majesty react?! What do I do.." Mr. Polon sighed and said, "I'm not sure, but until his majesty is back from tending to his royal duties, I reccomend you help her regain her memories." Willow nodded glumly, and mumbled something about my father who ever he was here.

Dr. Polon then left, closing the door silently. I looked at the girl, and said "Who are you? Where am I? Who am I?" in a robot like voice, Willow, which I assumed her name was, sighed and said, "I am Willow your highness, I have been your personal maid since you were 10, and I'm only a year older than you. We have been friends since then. You are currently in the Royal Palace, in the Orlon Empire, which rules over North, South, West, and East Orlon, with Orlon Dynasty in the middle of it. They are 5 separate countries all ruled by your father and mother. Emporer Gordon Hunstinglay, and Empress Julian Hunstinglay."

I nodded as I slowly started to remember and regain the memories of this person named Gloriana Heart Hunstinglay. Willow took a minute to breath and then said, "You only have a younger sister who is 8 years old, Harlyn Grace Hunstinglay whom you are very close with. You are the Crown Princess, and the heir to the throne." she paused as I took all of this in and then continued. "You've always been very kind hearted to those who are in need, but other nobles are very stuck up to you, and sometimes try to use you for personal gain."

Willow stopped and looked at me. I nodded and said. " Can I know more about this Orlon Empire?" WpI said softly, it was almost a whisper. Willow smiled and started talking again. "The empire has lasted for about 10 generations of your family, and before was just barren land where wars just happened between colonies." Willow said. Then, footsteps suddenly echoed the room, and kept getting louder by the second as they got closer, I played there, confused and dumbfounded by what was going on.

Willow jumped up and walked to the door and bowed, as a man and woman holding hands came in. The man had black hair, and deep purple eyes that I think would just about intimidate anyone who looked at them. He wore exquisite clothing, and seemed to be in his forties, or late thirties. The woman next to him had blonde hair and snow white skin like me, but had beautiful green eyes. She wore an elegant white gown with red accents, and had her hair in a bun with a gold barrette which looked like a Phoenix. The woman was just so beautiful, that I think any man would literally DIE for her hand in marriage. The man, was also very handsome.

The men following the couple, and Willow bowed, saying, "Your majesties." The man said, "Arise." and they did, as if they were under a spell he casted on them. A little girl who looked like me pushed through all of them and rushed to me jumping right at me, saying, "Glori!". I smiled and talked with them all. Little did I know how good, and bad the road ahead of me will be. God truly hasn't left my side yet..
