Chapter 4: Who is that?

Harlyn's words concerned me. I took a minute to thing. Could this be the guy that did the carving with me? IpHarlyn handed me the pictures and I looked at them dumbfounded, It was a family picture of me, Harlyn, and a little boy who looked exactly like our dad. Guess none of us inherited mom's green eyes. "Harlyn.." I said, trying not to laugh, looked at her, and wasn't surprised to see her laughing our eyes out. "Who is the boy?" I said, and pointed to the little boy in the picture. Harlyn stopped stopped g.j ing and said, "He's our little brother, Theodore, aka Theo." she said. I digged through my brain till I found memories with Theo.

Apparently Theo had been sent to a gifted children's school for kids of the elite. Meaning children of nobles. Me and Harlyn both went there. Theo had his last semester though, and will be taught at the palace after , and will come back in 2 weeks. Honestly though I'm a tad bit confused how Theo is not the heir to the throne and I am. After digging through my brain, AGAIN, (I swear I'm going to get a migraine from all this brain digging.) I realized that Orlon is known for its Empresses. The first ruler of Orlon was a woman, and so was the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 8th, and 9th. Our father's mother.

I remember having a little brother Theos ago back in my world, but like me, he was a target to my apdads debt, and died. My little brother was given a drug when kidnapped, and was found debt. I was never the same since then, but having a little brother again, seems.. Nice. I looked at Harlyn and made a, 'Oh right.' face. We put the pictures away, and swept the floors a bit, and made up funny stories about some of our ancestors, aka the pat rules of Orlon based on their looks. (Please dont kill me grandparents in heaven or hell. TvT)

After a while we both got bored of just whatever we were doing, and went out of the tree house. We ventured for maybe 15 minutes, till we left the flowery meadow, and went back into the thick abundance of trees, then the main center of the garden. There, surprisingly Willow and Aubrey were, drinking some type of fruit juice while eating some apples of one of the fruit trees near the table they were at, right next to the fountain. Harlyn and I waved to them, then went inside.

This is weird for even me to say, but somehow I didn't get lost in the current world largest castle to ever exist. I ran through the halls with ease, and raved with Harlyn, (who was somehow running in heels) to the dining hall. Mother and father were there eating their lunch, and when they saw us.. Mother looked at us and sighed, father looked at us and ordered he servants to clean us up. Mother laughed seeing how we were and held my father's arm smiling from ear to ear. After we checked we, and came back to the dining hall, mother watched us sit down, then said, "Did you two go to the Hope Tree?" mother said, Harlyn nodded, then started to eat her food. So that's what the tree was called, I thought.

After some chit chat over lunch, it all died down and everyone ate their food. After lunch, we all went our separate ways in the palace, but mother called me and Harlyn up to her and fathers chambers later on. She wanted to teach us some etiquette. I guess we really lacked it and hated our teachers o have the empress of an empire teach us.
