Chapter Two

It was 9 "o" clock in the evening and I got up to ready for the party. I walked to the washroom and get refreshed. I stepped out by wrapping a towel around me and walked to the cupboard to find my party dress. Pairing up a Black backless knee-length dress with a golden jacket, I chose to wear. I take out my black heels to wear for the party. Sitting in front of the dressing table, I looked into the mirror. I take out my makeup kit from the drawer and accessories to wear for the party. I put red lipstick on my lips and put on Smokey eye makeup onto my eyelids. My phone rang and that was Lisa.

"Hey, Rhea. You get ready?" she asked.

I was fitting my heel strap in my left leg and replied,

"Yes. I'm ready".

"Okay... I'm coming," she said.

I understand her arrival by the doorbell and I turned towards the door to open it,

"Looking beautiful...You may well find someone tightly babe," she said.

"Ohh...stop this," I said to her by giving such an expression that I don't care about that.

"You're looking quite a sexy Lee," I gave a compliment as she was looking sexy in her deep neck brown sequence dress with a bun.

She was waiting by sitting on a couch. By looking into the phone she said,

"It's 10, and we have to go now,"

I took a final look in the mirror and grab my golden clutch. I shut the Air-conditioner off and we both stepped out of the flat. I locked the door and put the key in my clutch. We walked straight to the elevator. We entered and I pressed the button to the ground floor. We hit the floor and move towards the car in the parking slot. She takes out her keys from the clutch and takes the driving seat and I was on her right side. She drove away. I scrolled up the window glass as the passage of air was ruining my hairstyle. We reached and entered. Everyone was enjoying it.

"Come on...Rhea," Lisa said.

Some faces seem unknown to me. It wasn't the first time for me to be there. We stand near the counter and she ordered some drinks and I decided to take just soda.

"Look. There are so many handsome faces here," she said.

"Yeah... But not of my type," I replied.

"Your type? What your type?" She said.

And a tall athletic figured guy with a beard came to us.

"Would you like to dance with me?" he asked Lisa.

She pulled her eyebrows and stared at me.

"Ohh...Yes. Why not," she said and followed that guy.

I was sitting near the counter,

"Mam, do you want anything?" the boy asked me.

"No... Don't," I responded.

I felt that someone was staring at me. I turn my face to my right and a very handsome guy with a wine glass in his hand was sitting there, I ignored him. After some seconds again, I saw in that direction to check if, he was still staring, and yes I was right, he was still starring but this time he made a little gesture to me. He gave a smile and I look down and smile. I look over him and now he moves his right hand to say, "Hi" a little hesitating. I smiled in to respond. He was saying something, but due to louder music, I was unable to hear him. I was blushing and little feeling something inside my heart. A melodious bell started ringing in my mind and I was feeling happy inside my heart. Yes, he was a stranger, I didn't know him but I was feeling a little comfortable. He gets up and walked towards me. He was again trying to say something but still, I was unable to hear. Then, he came close enough so I can hear him.

"What's your name?" He asked.

"Rhea. I'm Rhea Raheja," I replied.

"Hey... nice name. I'm Sameer Wadhawa," he said by giving me a handshake.

"Would you like to dance?" He asked. I nodded my head yes. I followed him on a dance floor. He requested to play a romantic soulful song and we start the dance.

"So... What you do?", he asked.

"I am a graduation student", I answered.

"Ohh... By the way, what you study and where?" he asked again.

"I am studying chemistry at Golden Era University," I said.

"That's great. I heard a lot about that University," he said.

"And what about you?" I asked.

"I have done my studies from Australia. Currently working as a Maths Professor in Gild Group of Institution," he said.

"Ohh... Then you might be much elder than me," I said.

"Do I look?" he asked immediately.

"Umm... No. You look like a handsome gentleman", I said.

"Ohh... Thank you. Any boyfriend?" He asked.

"Don't you think, this is too personal? I mean... We have just met," I said.

"Umm... No. I don't think so. We can be good friends and a friend should know everything about his other friend," he said.

"Ohh... friend. Aaa.. a good friend. You don't think this is too fast?" I said.

"Why this should be slow?" he replied giving a sensual look and the sparkle started flowing through my vein to my whole body.

"You haven't yet given my answer, miss," he said.

"No. I don't have the one. Do you?" I said.

"Actually no but want one," he responds.

"Why you don't have the one, you are so beautiful," he said by staring into my eyes.

And a very romantic instrumental music started to play. It was very soothing. By holding my hand he started to walk towards the exit and I followed him. And we reached the outside on the lawn. There was only me and he. He came closer and started starring into my eyes. I stare back and he came close enough to my face. He smooched on my lips with his and our lips met. He holds my face with his strong arms and gave me a deep kiss. I also kissed him back. For a while, we paused and then continued. He gave a smooth bite on my lips and his tongue was in my mouth. We shared a kiss then slowly get back and he wrapped his strong arms around me. He gave hug and I also have done the same by wrapping my arms around him. He takes aside my hair from my face and kissed my forehead. I was really feeling out of the world and that fire was burning in my body.

"What's the time?" I asked him.

"It's 1 a.m." he replied by heading into his wristwatch.

"I have to go now," I said to him.

"I can drop you home," he said.

"No... I'm with my friend Lisa," I said.

I walked away and then a thing clicked in my mind and I turned back looking at him.

"You don't want my number?" I asked as he didn't ask for it by himself.

"No, if destiny wants us to be together then we have to meet again," he said.

"Where?" I asked.

"Let's see", he replied.

"It's so filmy na", I said.

"No... It's the truth that we have to meet again at a different place, at different times, just like a surprise dream," he said.
