Chapter IV

"Good for you, Nao-chin! You finally have a job!"

Miyuki cheers as he gives Nao a pat on the head.

"But what job is it though? Did the President tell you?" 

"No, not yet. He said that he'll test me first if I'm suitable for the job." 

Nao responded before taking a bite of her lunch.

"I see… So it's not sure yet if you're really going to have the job."

Mayuri singh.

"No, I'll pass all the tests! I trust myself!" 

Nao exclaimed and Miyuki gave her headpats.

"That's the spirit! Fight, Nao-chin!"

"Mh-hm!"

Mayuri could only breathe out a sigh before a smile made its way into her lips.

"But be careful, Nao-chin. If the President's fangirls saw you talking to him or getting along with him, you'll be bullied. So always be careful, okay?" 

Miyuki reminds her like a strict father and Nao nods her head firmly.

"Good. If anyone bullies you, tell us, okay?"

Mayuri added before finishing her lunch.

"Mh-hm! I'm really grateful that I have friends like you two! Thank you!" 

The twins felt their hearts being squeezed as Nao flashed them her brightest smile and they felt that they would pass out anytime soon.

'A-Angel! A-An angel has descended upon us!'

Nao finished her lunch just in time and the school chime went off as soon as she finished packing her lunch box and fixing herself.

"Let's go back to class, shall we?" 

Miyuki smiles and the two girls only nod their heads before standing up and leaving the garden.

"That would be all for today. Class dismissed. Go to your own clubs." 

The teacher dismissed and left the room with his things.

"Nao-chin!"

Miyuki called out as he dumped himself into Nao, resting his chin on top of her head.

"What's wrong, Miyuki-kun?" 

Nao asks, looking up to Miyuki.

"Could you let me copy your notes in Mathematics?" 

Miyuki asks with pleading eyes, causing Nao to smile.

"Of course, here." 

Nao smiles as she hands him her notebook with Mathematics written in front of it.

"Yay! Thank you, Nao-chin!"

Miyuki cheers and gives the said girl headpats. 

The older twin turned around and as soon as he turned around, a thick book was thrown on his face causing him to halt in his tracks and Nao to flinch.

"Yuki, don't you think you're getting ahead of yourself too much, hm?" 

Nao begins to tremble when she hears Mayuri's voice coated with venom plus the dangerous smile she wears.

"I don't!"

Miyuki puffs his cheeks out and pushes his red square-frame glasses up.

"Ah, is that so?" 

Mayuri grips his ear causing her twin to wince in pain.

"Why don't you start copying her notes and write your own instead?" 

"But her handwriting is neat and beautiful. Plus she always put down extra notes." 

Mayuri heave out a sigh before smacking Miyuki on the top of his head causing him to lose his consciousness and Nao to flinch.

"M-Miyuki-k-kun!" 

Nao shrieks as she shakes the said boy to wake him up.

Mayuri puffs her cheeks while looking pissed off and the whole class, except for a group of three girls to laugh. 

"You trio are always funny!"

"The best trio ever!"

"Hahahaha! Nice hit, Mayuri-san!"

As the whole class is busy laughing at the trio, no one notices the black haired president standing by the door.

'They sure are lively.'

"Good afternoon, President." 

A boy greets as he jogs toward Klein.

"Ah, good afternoon to you too. Is Aisaka Nao-san here? I need to talk to her." 

He smiled and the male classmate of Nao was surprised a little, but still called Nao.

"Aisaka-san! The President is here for you!"

The whole class turns their attention toward the door and sees Klein standing there with a smile plastered on his face.

"A-Ah, President! W-Why a-are you here?"

Nao asked as she stood up from her seat abruptly and was about to walk toward Klein, but he stopped her before she could walk further away from her seat.

"Don't forget your things." 

Klein smiles and Nao flinches for a moment before grabbing all of her things but her math notebook.

"Can I have my math notebook back tomorrow, Mayuri-san?" 

She turns to face Mayuri.

"Of course, I'll tell Miyuki. Now go." 

Mayuri assured her with a smile plastered on her face.

"Thank you, then. I'm off, Mayuri-san. Please be careful on your way home." 

Nao bid before jogging toward Klein.

"And President, please take good care of Nao-chan. Please walk her home safely." 

Mayuri turned to face Klein who nodded his head before speaking up.

"You have my word, Ishikawa-san. I'll ensure her safety." 

Klein bows his head a little while Mayuri only nods her head in response and Nao looks from Klein to Mayuri, Mayuri to Klein with confusion written all over her face.

"Well then, let's go, shall we, Aisaka-san?" 

He turns to face Nao beside him.

"Y-Yes, Pre-

"Uziyama."

Nao blinked her eyes a couple times and Klein chuckled at her behavior.

"It's either Uziyama or Klein. Choose one." 

Pink hues cover her cheeks before speaking up.

"Y-Yes, U-U-Uziya-a-ama-senpai." 

Klein felt too happy and gave Nao headpats before dragging her away by her wrist.

The whole class who still haven't recovered from their schock, recovered and the class that once was quiet, erupted.

"Seriously?!"

"Is something going on between The Scholar and President?!"

"Good for Aisaka!"

"This is big news!"

Mayuri who has irk marks all over her cheeks turn to face her classmates to tell them that nothing is going on between the two, but Miyuki beats her to it.

"There's nothing going on between the two of them, so shut your mouths." 

The whole class shudders at Miyuki's venomous voice and the sharp look he was giving them which has successfully silenced the whole class.

"Nao-chin needs some job and the President was kind enough to give her a job--to be his secretary, that's all." 

Miyuki grabbed Nao's math notebook and swung his bag on his shoulder and left the room followed by Mayuri. 

And as soon as they left, the classroom became loud again and Miyuki felt more missed.

'Shitty people.'
