Periods... What a hateful time of the month.

A little preparation for girls for who this might happen soon. I think I need to prepare you mentally to what it is 'cause from a girl to an other, ''symptoms'' vary. So here, for you. I'll first explain a bit from where the blood comes from and why we actually have them. Then we'll talk about ''symtoms'' and tricks to help you go better.

♡~Period... Where does it come from?~♡

Periods are a natural thing that occures when a girl is redy to have kids. Usually, it starts a year or two after the beginning of puberty. It's actually all cause by an ovum...

The ovums ''lives'' in the ovaries since your birth and are ''asleep'' in their until your body is ready to have children. In acient times, the day you had your first menstruation was the day your parents would start to try to marry you. You then have a limited number of ovums for your whole life and when you have no more, it's menopause.

It starts every month, one ovum(or two if your body feels wise) are rolling out of the ovary it was in too the fallopian tube. Then, it joins the uterus, slowly filling up with blood to contain the futur baby if the ovum if fertilized. Since it's not in our case, an ovum can survive from one to two days and dies. After that, your body will flush the dead ovum with the blood containing it. This is menstruations.

♡~PMS and MS~♡

PMS: pre-menstrual symptoms

It usually occures the week brfore you are supose to be in your period and gives you headaches, makes you sleepy, gives you minor cramps.. It the worst case of course. Most women only experience the headache and extreme sensibility. The only trick I can give you is to have chocolate for the week and the next one and to have meds such as Advil and Tylenol to help with cramps and headaches. You can also use a heat pad or if you have a kind cat that likes to sleep on your belly, it helps reduce the cramps too.

MS:Menstrual Symptoms

Same as the ones listed up above but worst for some, others don't feel any difference... Lucky them. Just keep chocolate close to you for mood swings due to your extreme sensibility and always have meds for cramps. Also, keep one or two tampons and an extra menstrual pad in your bag, just in case.

So here is my little text about periods and symptoms. Oh and wait 'til you sneeze or start laughing. My dear, Niagara Falls will come visit you. Rember your always loved and your not alone in this aweful week for some, indiferent one for others. I'm in the ones suffering. What about you?♡
