“Should I write ‘Please choose me’?”

“No. Maybe ‘Please don’t let go of me’ suits it well?”

“Ah!! I don’t know what to write anymore.” I said as I tap the back of my neck.

“I see you still love writing songs during your past time huh?”

That voice. My heart is beating faster, my hands are getting sweaty, I got nervous. I hesitated. What will I do if I see him? What if it’s not him? I slowly turned my head around.

“What? You can’t recognize me anymore?” He said while gesturing if he may take the seat.

I noded, smiled and said “Long time no see.”

As soon as he sat infront of me, he raised his hand to get the attention of the serving crew.

Its been 10 years since I last saw him and he still looked as handsome as he was 10 years ago.

Not long after he sat, the crew was already beside our table ready to take his order.

“One americano for me please.” he said as he flipped the pages of the menu.

“Do you still like Hot Choco?” he added.

“Yeah. Still the same.” I responded while I placed my notebook inside my bag.

“Then, one americano, one hot choco and a chocolate cake for us please.” the crew left after he handed him back the menu book.

“I see you‘re alone. Where is your knight and shining armor?” he said.

“He’s in a meeting. I’m just waiting for him here. How have you been?” I said trying to change the topic.

“Good. I’ve been good. I just got back from France.” he responded as he took out a thing from his coat.

He placed a red box in front of me and pushed it towards my direction.

“Open it.” he commanded with a smile

Confused of what is happening, I took the red small box and opened it. My eyes got wide as I open the box. Inside is a ring with a blue diamond stone. Before I can speak up and ask question a hand grabbed my wrist.

“What ever this ring is for, it is not for you to know.” Brandon said as he pulls me of my seat and placed the box back at the table

“It’s good to see you again Brandon.” he said with a grin on his face

“Yeah. Its been so long Ford.” Brandon responded.

“Well, I shall take my girlfriend with me as we still have important matters to attend to. See you around!”

Without letting Ford talk, Brandon and I left the cafe.
