Next day was as tiring as usual. It continued with daily dance, music, art and cutlery practice like those girls in high society do. I was glad to have enough time for studying.

Today was not as cruel like other days. I felt lively, soulful and enlightened. Mr. Carter was like an angel that came to my dark life to eradicate darkness.

"Lily bring me the diamond ring I gave for polishing from the merchant" Madam again spoke in her ordering tone.

Accepting her order I when right to the merchant. She is always like this. she cares more for jewelry than anyone's life.

As soon as, I got out of the store I heard a loud bang. A truck rushed into limousine taking away life of few people. There lied a handsomely attractive blond haired who looked like a familiar face.

I got near to the accident scene and found that man to be Mr. Carter. Why does God do terrible things to people that are bearable around me.

I hurried towards him and embraced him in my arms. "Mother..." he mumbled while touching my cheeks gently. Ambulance was called and he was sent to hospital.

I asked my most loyal and only secret friend, Ray, who is our family driver to get the ring to Madam and tell her that I met the man she introduced me yesterday and went for a coffee with him.

I accompanied Carter to ambulance and watched till he entered the hospital room. After one hour when doctor came out to tell that he was out of danger, I finally took a sigh of relief.

I couldn't wait to see how he was doing so I helped my self in his room and found him unconscious. I gently rubbed his hairs and cried as if it was I who was injured. (Because tears fell on his cheeks,) he soon woke up while I was still there.

His fingers tenderly brushed my nose and he had a soft smile lit on his glorious face. "If you were mine I would have treated you better" his words shocked me and my cheeks went tomato red.

I ran out of the room out a weird embarrassment. I took a cab and went home. Ray sat on the staircase and sobbed silently.

" Ruined" he said at the sight of me. " What does madam knows that I lied to her?" I asked as I was suffering grave terror. As Ray nods his head I suffered a intense fright.

I should have never come back and should have hidden in the hospital or should have asked Mr. Carter for help. I felt helpless. I framed many ideas to escape from the crazy woman.

I walked past the door taking smooth and inaudible step but still the crazy one found me.

"Lily, Eric came to meet you as he couldn't find you in coffee shop" with her words, the playboy pop up from her back carrying a witch like smile on his face.

"Oh my god, you found me. I thought to give you a surprise by bringing you a platinum necklace matching with your beauty and ring. But look at me I could not find any piece matching your godly image so I finally decided to design one for you." there goes my great ideas against madam.

" Fine just go to your room and let me see the design within a day" again that woman said things drowned in fake pride of hers.
