Chapter 2

Wendy woke up in a woman's cry and voices. Her hearing are still in process along with her other senses.

'What is going on?'

“She's so young yet... My daughter *huk* my poor little girl *huk* why can't you save our daughter !! We have all money!! Why!? We have paid all those useless doctors to heal our poor daughter, but they can't even heal her!! They are all useless!! What's the point of being an Imperial Doctors!! *hik* Huhuhuhuhu... My poor baby is suffering from so much pain and mother can't do anything to help you. I'm such a useless mother!! “ A woman shouts while crying.

For some reason Wendy's heartache, hearing a woman's cry. She wants to hug her and comfort her but her body... She can't move but she can hear them. Furthermore, she also felt different.

'Am I dead?'

She tried to move her fingers. After a fifth attempt to move my fingers, and finally I can move it a little. She continues to move again in her other hand, and it's also moving.

Gasp!

“She...moved!!” A small childish voice shout that stops the woman from crying. A sudden soft and warm touch from someone in her moving hands hold her.

“Wan! Honey am I dreaming!? My little wan hand moved”!

“Yes darling. Please calm down. Imperial Doctor will check her---” A masculine but gentle voice of man said.

“HMP! He dares!” A woman's angrily said.

“Darling please stop being childish and let our daughter checked”

“Fine”

'Whose daughter? Who is this Imperial Doctor? Am I at the hospital?'

A warm touch let her hand go. Suddenly she felt lonely and sad.

A smell of herbs approach her knowing that this is a person they called Imperial Doctor. Next is a cold big and rough hand touch her pulse. Feeling her heart beats and....

'Wait, wait, wait!!! A man said they will check their daughter but why did they check mine??! Where is Ryan! My husband!'

Wendy open her eyes suddenly but close her eyes again because of light meet her. Slowly, she open her eyes again to adjust to light.

“My daughter!!” Again a woman shouted calling her daughter and cry again. Wendy move her brows to confuse and look at the observing eyes In front of her.

'A handsome Imperial Doctor!!'

Her small eyes who are still adjusting to light suddenly become wide in shock. A young man's eyes look at her reaction a second and nod its head in confirmation. He released its hand in her pulse and turn its wide back. In front of him is a crying woman who is waiting for what he will say.

“Your daughter is fine. She just needed some rest. I will prescribe her needs and don't. If there is a problem just call me” Hearing a man's cold but gentle voice finish. The woman who felt relieved and happy run to her daughter who is still in confused states. Ignoring everyone and hug her daughter.

Wendy shocked at the woman's sudden hug. Strangely, she felt small in this woman who is hugging her.  She felt suffocate she pushes her with all her strength. She breathe and look at her full of worries red eyes with still small tear in her eyes.

“Wan wan what's wrong? Do you feel anything hurt? Faster, tell mother where is hurts. I will tell Imperial Doctor about it, and he will heal you” She softly said to her. Wendy open her mouth but close it again.

“Who are you? Who is wan wan?” When she open her mouth again she spoke in a childish and dry voice. She blinks her eyes to confuse not accepting her situation.

Everyone inside the room shock.

“What are you talking? You are my daughter, little Wan wan. Don't joke at mother dear it's not funny” She said while her tears won't stop from falling. Wendy felt pity looking at her---so called mother.
