I'M FINE

A wooden table that could fit at most four or three people was now filled with several take out. There was enough delicacies to fill up three whole stomachs. Every plate was placed exquisitely, a mouth watering dish was carefully placed on the side.

Looking at the person who was wolfing down the plates of food without any care of her image, Lilian's mouth couldn't help but twitch. Beauty Ellie had such a slim and slender figure, but she had never known that the demure girl she had always known as noble and classy also had her piggy side.

When she said 'eat', it really meant eating and nothing else. She ate and kept wolfing down every dish without a care of preserving her image. Not sure if she was trying to drawn or forgetting her troubles by stuffing herself full.

However, that didn't seem to be the case, her expression was rather relaxed and she didn't seem to be worried how much others would say about her in the school forum. It seemed to be more important how much food she could stuff herself with. Her World outside was chaotic and anyone with a weak state of mind might easily break down. She had even heard of people who had commited suicide because they couldn't take it.

Of course, Lilian wasn't hoping that her Goddess would be one of those who easily broke down and committed suicide. At least, she could show that she cared or at least show signs of being affected, but it was difficult to understand her train of thoughts.

Lilian was scared that Eleanor might just be holding it in, pretending to be calm, but once she was left alone she might commit an attrocity. As for what attrocity she might possibly commit, Lilian didn't dare think about it. She just decided to follow Eleanor arround, making sure not to leave her side.

She followed Eleanor like a little shadow, making sure not to look clingy and suffocating by staying too close, as if guarding her on a side.

When Eleanor noticed this almost unoticeable gesture from the little, she immediately understood her thoughts. She really didn't know if she should cry or laugh at Lilian's silliness.

If she really had the intention of killing herself, would she wait till today, besides she didn't think this little girl could stop her if she had that intention. However, she found Lilian amusing and cute, she couldn't help but turn and pull her cheek.

"You've been following me all day, don't you have lessons today ?"

Of course she had lessons, but she just didn't dare to leave Eleanor by her side, what if the moment she left her Beauty Ellie found the opportunity to hurt herself. So she definitely couldn't leave Eleanor by herself, at least until everything had died down.

Comprehending Lilian's thoughts, Eleanor chuckled but didn't bother to expose her.

"You're still in your first year, it won't be good to miss lessons."

"But..."

Without giving the girl a chance to speak Eleanor suddenly seemed to have been enlightened, giving off an aggrieved expression.

"Unless...you don't dare trust me with your home."

Hearing her words, Lilian's face turned pale, now she was the one who was aggrieved. She immediately waved her hand in panic denying what had been said.

"That's not it, I definitely put my full trust in Beauty Ellie...you... you can't get me wrong ?"

"Is that so?", Eleanor looked at her with a suspiciouse expression, as if she didn't believe her words, making Lilian panic even more.

"Please don't misunderstand me, I...I really trust you." Lilian was on frenzy, in order to prove that she was ready, she hot ready for school. Determined to prove that she could fearlessly trust her house to Eleanor.

"Oh!", Eleanor just watched on the side, with her expression as if saying, ' do you dare go to school without worry.'

Lilian didn't think much about it and quickly walked out as soon as she was ready. But the moment she came back to realisation, she felt a little odd

'Why did it feel like she had been tricked?'

The culprit at this moment was now making a phone call with a calm expression, as if she wasn't the person who had been aggrieved a while ago.

"Yeah, just let Diane bring it over, I'll be working at Lilian's home today."

Eleanor reminded while typing some codes on the laptop, then immediately hacked into another computer. However, she frowned when she discovered there was nothing much, she sighed but there was no dissappointment on her face, as if it had been expected.

"Do you need me to come over and accompany you ?", The other party at the other end of the line asked after speaking. But he soon realised that maybe he might have said it the wrong way so he hurried to explain.

"I mean, join you, perharps they might be something you don't know and I..."

"Thanks Liam, but I'm fine.", Eleanor immediately and politely rejected the other party. She knew that he meant well, but she wanted to make him understand that she wasn't that weak. From the day she was sent to the orphanage she had never needed to rely on others but herself. There had never been a moment nor a day when she needed to rely on others.

Of course Liam on the other line knew it, he knew that Eleanor Lopez had never needed help nor did she rely on others but her strength and achievements. He was quite helpless about this independant attitude of hers and had always wished as his business partner they could rely on each other.

But he knew that wasn't and had never been the case.

"Alright, I'm hanging up."

After a beeping sound, Liam who was sitting on his office chair stood up and walked towards the floor-to-ceiling window of his office. He took out a lighter and a cigarette and lit it, holding the cigarette on his lips for a while before blowing out some smoke.

The scene in front of him was beautiful, several sky scrappers and the busy street of Y city. From where he stood he could see the world from above, as if everyone was underneath him. It reminded him that they had been a time when he was also being looked down by others. He couldn't remember how miserable he been been, but he knew how fustrated he had been at that moment.

When he was at his worst it was a little girl who was barely eighteen who had carried him, she had lent him a helping hand and built a pillar for him. When everyone thought his company would bankrupt, she brought it back to life and made it what it was today.

That's why he named it ELLA Coperation, but not many knew about it. Every body knew who was the President of ELLA Coperation, but no body knew about its Vice President.
