Chapter I

Every Boxer has a dream, that dream is to be the best in the world and they will take all kinds of brain damage to do it. You see I didn't dream that big... Actually I had no idea what boxing was until I was 10. Now I had never seen a Boxing match in the history of ever so in order to train I would do the exercises they had on the training montages on the movies. Upon watching my first match all I wanted to do was box, but my family said otherwise, so in order to keep them off my *** about me being a boxer I told them I would be a Vet... which I couldn't do even if I wanted to because, y'know the whole animal dying thing wasn't for me. So I had "trained" for 5 years on the the 5th year I got my wish to box because my school offered that as a sport, deadly I know, So I joined and my parents weren't happy but I won so we had to celebrate the fact that I one shoted him in the nose to knock him out.... Cuz let's be honest, boxing or not seeing someone get punched in the nose is awesome. So I kept winning matches and carried the sheer hatred for all the Frat guys and Sports lovers on the opposing side so that made it easier, up until my Best friend got in the ring with me. Neither of us wanted this match to happen bit we had both won in the bracket so we kinda had to. 6 rounds is what it took for him to put me on my ***. (I'd go into more detail about but I don't wanna bring it back up... But just picture it as a Rocky movie. preferably Rocky II) After he had dropped me He went to state and won first place. Now today he is the World Heavyweight Champion with 7 title defenses. speaking of Present day let's get back to that...

PRESENT DAY: Sweat falling from my face before I'm even in the ring, I've already puked twice so maybe I won't do it on my opponent. I can't wait for a shot at the Champ because I won't have to sit in a bathroom thay looks straight outta 8 Mile (At least I didn't vomit on my sweater!) A loud couple of bangs come from the steel door behind me as I hear "Hey Yo kid, You ready? You're on in 1 minute." said Rick, the owner of the gym, I don't even have to see him to tell his voice apart from anyone else's. "Yeah, Yeah... Uh be right there!" I shouted back not knowing if I was gonna be right there or not because I think round 3 of the pukes is coming up. (This is what they don't show you in the movies.) But I muster the nerve to get up and put my, Quite shitty, gloves on. I pulled hard to get that Green steel door to open and it finally did. you'd think he'd fix that by now judging by the fact that this building is his baby. "Ready to give 'er hell kid?"

"Somethin' like that Rick. By the way I still never got paid for last week's fight."

"Well I kept that money to fix the wall you put Danny's head into last week in the locker room."

I was about to say something else when my intro music started fading in, I could just barely hear Eye Of The Tiger starting so I decided to put the money fact behind me for the moment and try not to get too nervous and puke again. As I entered the ring A big Black guy probably 6' 1 ish stood across the ring from me. As the starting bell sounded I knew I had to find a weakness immediately or I'd be dead. as he swung a right hook at me I noticed every time he does that he never covers with his other hand (Rule #1 always stay as covered as possible) So I waited for hom to throw that hook again and then I decked him with a swift right to the bottom of his jaw. he was stunned and a tad dazed for a second so I also took that to my advantage and stepped towards him a little I put my hands up and gestured for more. he swung a series of right and lefts that I either dodged or blocked as I waited for that right hook again but this time I went down low, i hit im his left rib and stayed lower down and just kept working the body. He fell with 20 seconds left of the first round and didn't get back up. sometimes it's just a piece of cake....
