Chap 3: Lieu Gregg : The Agonist

UNCHAINING THE AGONY

A free verse story ……

( Me – Narrator – REXEN 20 year old - A son of Don Ro)

I met lieu 3 years ago for the first time.

He was around 17-18 year old

I was still in primary grade that time.

He was in same grade in high school with my brother. After passing primary school he

moved to Shonta Region for study. He was deep minded with shallowness in his

behaviour like he was holding something within him.A galaxy raising through.

Lieu’s mother started working as maid at our mansion and his father started a garage

nearby which was their prime income source. ( Gontron Garage ) where lieu worked

under his father in the meantime.

Therefore , he and his family were regular member close to us .

His father Mr.Gregg was a crooked and selfish person – a short minded . He was a

heavy drinker , no day would pass he hadn’t been to tavern for hangovers . He spent

every money he earned on drinks .

He was trouble to their family . He would beat lieu and mrs.gregg for money everytime .

Even he used his wife’s earning and costly things at his house to fill his thirst for alcohol

. It was part of his daily schedule to beat his wife and kid and they were practically used

to this …

Months passed ,

My father ( don ro ) saw lieu’s and his mother’s daily hardwork and decided to provide

money and fund to his father and his garage so he can revise his taxes and earn more ,

garage was advertised all around the region for promotion .

But as we say , give dog a bone and dog will come back tomorrow for another……

Mr.Gregg took so many loans from the bank under the name of my father . He reached

to his limit . Mr.Hoen was a bank manager – (who worked for my father and close to

Uncle Crosso) rejected giving him further loan and asked for repay the money .

This hurted Mr.Gregg’s pride ! He was frustrated with anger .”how can a low Leech ask

payment to me? Don’t you want to live your happy life “ and started chattering and

fighting loudly with Hoen . Hoen tried to calm him down but he was out of bounds and

started abusing and loitering the bank. In the end , the guards had to kick him out the

bank .

Chapter 3.5 : Brunet Snow

After getting booted from the bank . Mr.Gregg’s ego was hurted , he was mad and

desperate for payback . He was waiting for chance to prove his contempt for Mr.Hoen.

Few days later , Mr.Gregg was heavy drunk and was sitting with his other drunk friend

in tavern . Both of them were so drunk they were flying to the stars. Gregg starting

babbling and reporting how he was humiliated. The other drunk guy seeked this chance

and planted ideas in Gregg that was despicable action against him , he should repay

him to restore his plume.

He told Gregg that there is a guy – Grosslow

(An extremist – political dog ) who has big political hands in government .. to go and

meet him and look for his help to veil the illegal practices between Hoenn and Don Ro .

This would damage Hoen’s entire career from his bank manager post and he would be

lied down to streets.

Hoenn and Uncle Crosso were close friends , so they would drive every Sunday around

the region for property and taxing checkment . Hoen had old car model – his lucky car .

He used to bring his car to Gontron Garage for repairs and services . And as usual he

left his car at Saturday night at Gregg’s for washing and cleaning .

It was fall of the year , a snowy weather .

World was white . Dark nights . Chills passing through the atmosphere.

Sunday morning , it was holiday . So lieu woke early and went to garage for working .

He saw his father was fixing Hoen’s car for long hours. Lieu continued to his work.

Few hours passed and Boogie came at garage with his cycle and Lieu and boogie sat

chatting down . Meanwhile , Crosso and Hoen arrived to pick up the car . Hoen had his

original paperworks in his hand and asked mr.gregg if car was ready to drive and

opened the door of his backseat and put the files in the seat . Crosso by then sat with

lieu and boogie and talked him normal chores .

Mr gregg asked for more 10 mins and kept on fixing the engine since it was cold winter

and the car being old had jamming problems in engine and asked Hoen that he has

filled new fuel and oiled the ignition coil , so the car would buff for sometime which

they should ignore it.

Car was ready to drive .

Hoen sat on driver’s seat and crosso sat beside him and after starting 3-4 times the car

..both took off .

As soon as they left , a non identical person came to meet Mr gregg , he looked feared

and behaved suspicious .

Lieu ignored it and went back to his complete remaining job ………

In corner of the wall he saw an old model piston and ignition chamber lying from the

old model car …..

Lieu dropped his job and threw away the instruments and abruptly asked boogie for

cycle keys and took off !

It was snowing , the roads were clumped .

Lieu rode heavily …

He saw Hoen’s car near an office parked by .

Hoen was sitting in the car , and crosso was in the shopping mart near . He went to

buy cigars .

Crosso buyed cigars and was returning to the car , the car’s side door was open.

Hoen was ready to start the car . He pulled the starter one time… screech ..no

movement… second time ….no movement ….

Crosso was about to reach the car and suddenly

Lieu rode

..he hit and pushed crosso and both of them fell down aside

THE CAR EXPLODED 💥💥💥…

.

.

. Hoen died and burned to death..

This news spread throughout the region .

Don Ro was aggravated by this .

He picked Lieu’s father and beat him and tied him to kill him .

( Lieu explained the truth to Don Ro .

He sold out his father .

How the car engines was trampled by his father – he removed the piston which

caused the ignition coil directly come to contact with fuel tank . The more times the

ignition was lightened the more petrol would fell in ignition coil which had lead to

connect the contact for blast )

Due to lieu’s action and help to save Crosso he was showed mercy .

Don Ro , gave lieu a coin and asked to flip it

Heads – You will kill your father with your hands

Tails – Recover the files sold to extremists

Lieu tossed the coin – and catched it in between his fingers and said .

“ I will do both” and gave a heinous Smile .

Don Ro couldn’t understand what his real intentions were but he accepted his decision

and said only one word

“Fine” .

.

Lieu chose to kill his father first and then go to recover the files next

.

Lieu asked Don Ro “ I want to kill my father with immense pain , could you provide me

4 bulls and liquor”?

Lieu tied Mr.gregg’s both hands and legs with chains to all 4 bulls and made bulls drink

alcohol to drive them crazy .

--- and said to his father “ These are the hands and legs , you hurted me and mother

everyday right? Now meet your fate tonight “

Mr . Gregg wasn’t afraid to die . He accepted it with mad laughs and said

“ Remember Lieu , No matter how beautiful snow is .. The winter is always dark “

. And the he was released in open area till his hands and legs were pulled off of his

body .

Lieu sat there and enjoyed his death throughout the night .

Don Ro and Crosso was moved by his behaviour . Lieu was a agonized serpent around

the neck waiting for perfect time to bite.

He was unchained that day from his miserable life . It was his rebirth .

Now I could understand what the pleasure I felt in hurting Broco that day .

Lieu had been suffering this since birth.

The feeling of the pain you hold in you for time makes it ripe to most insane anguish

you will pass out through.

Next day Don Ro gave a gun to lieu and asked him to go and revive the files
