first day of senior year

“Huff huff." “Please Henry come back you need to hear me out please,”

I yelled while catching my breath.

“No never, What you say can’t be true it’s impossible! Please just do

yourself a favor and stay away from me, I’ll only end up hurting you more if you

find out,” Henry said.

Oh no, I am so sorry, we are having technical problems, That is not

Aiden Peterson, and this is the story of how my life turned upside down. It all

started on the first day of senior year. I was on my way to the first period being my

clumsy self, spacing out and I bumped into Henry Smith the biggest trouble

maker in the whole school.

“Oh, I am so sorry I did not see you there,”

I had just dropped my books all over the floor and started apologizing while picking them

up.

“Yea, you should be sorry, what kind of kid is spacing out while they are

walking. You know you could of trip me over and made me break my leg,

honestly, you should watch where you’re going,”

He said while looking at me with a face of disturbance and anger.

“Yes I know I am very sorry it won’t happen again,”

I said.

I was trying very hard to make it sound like I was not mad at him for what he just said because what he said was pissing me off. I know I was half at fault but you could have moved and you were not paying attention as well you were looking down at your phone. I thought to myself. Honestly, I was starting my day at a bad start and already made someone hate me.

“Ya that’s right it is your fault you should be saying sorry,”

He said while two boys were calling out for Henry.

“Henry are you coming we have to turn in our group projects before the bell rings and were not getting F’s because of you,” they said yelling across the hallway.

“Anyway, I gotta go bye... tweeb,”

Henry said pausing to think of what to call me.

“Did he just call me a tweeb? What a guy, all I did was drop my stuff an bump into him. Ugggh that guy gets on my nerve.”

I whispered to myself.

Later that day I saw him again walking home alone. Now that I think about it I never saw him with any other people except one time last year he was with a girl walking home but after that, I’ve never seen him with someone other than group projects and teachers. So I did the stupidest thing ever in the eternity of stupid things. Which is I walked up to him and asked him

“Hey, henry want to walk home together?”...
