A normal day

Walking around town on a beautiful morning when no one is awake yet is the most peaceful thing, the birds are chirping, there’s no yelling or screaming from villagers fighting over food, and the animals are all awake to be fed by the one person who is awake at this hour.

Zane walked over to the horse and gave them their feed for the morning, “good morning everyone, you guys miss me?” All of the animals ran over and crowded around Zane.

Zane loved to go out of town and up on a hill to watch the sunrise after feeding and playing with the animals. Back down in the village all was quiet other than a sneaky little princess sneaking out of town to avoid the guards. Once she got out she ran up the other side of the hill and didn’t notice Zane.

Zane heard someone behind him and turned around to see the princess, “hello princess.” The princess jumped up and started to back away but began to fall down the hill. Zane ran over to her and jumped behind her so that she would land on him instead of falling down the hill.

The princess landed on Zane and got off of him. Once she got off of Zane he started to roll down the hill. When he stopped moving he lay there not moving, the princess looked down to Zane and ran down to him to make sure he was ok.

She got down to him and checked to see if he was breathing, “are you ok?!” Zane poked his head up, “I’m fine, I think I might have broken my leg tho.”

Zane sat up and the princess was crying a little bit, “I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt you, you just startled me and I almost fell.”

“It’s ok I would have helped anyone, even if it was a horse I would help it from falling.”

“W-what’s your name?”

“My name is Zane.”

“I would say that it’s nice to meet you but it seems as tho I’ve made a bad first impression.”

“It’s perfectly fine, what would you like me to call you, and if you want we could be friends.”

“My names Abigale, and yes. I would love to be your friend.”

Abigale helped Zane get up and helped him get back to the village. Once they got back the bell went off waking up everyone. The princess helped Zane sit down, “I have to go, see you tomorrow morning, meet me at the castle gates, bye.” Zane waved bye as the princess ran back to the castle to get ready for the day.

The villagers woke up and started the day normally as Zane limped to the doctor. He walked in and the door to the office said that the doctors would all be gathered in town helping everyone set up for the festival that was in two days. Zane sat down in a chair knowing that one doctor was still there.

A doctor walked out of a room seeing Zane, “what happened?”

“I fell down the hill and broke my leg.”

The doctor took Zane into her office and told him to sit down on the bed as she grabbed the stuff she needed to help him. Zane sat down not knowing the doctor who was helping him but he knew how to make a cast and that she knew as well.

She walked over to Zane and made the cast around his broken leg, “I’m a new doctor here so you came right after I finished walking around, lucky you.” Zane watched as she finished his cast, “I hope you can do good things for this town.”

The doctor gave him a crutch and agreed as she walked out with him. She went to go help everyone get ready and Zane went over to the animals after leaving a note at his house.

The note he left was for his parents telling them that he was going to stay with a friend for the next week, Zane is a fast healer so he only needs a week of recovery for a broken bone.

Zane went to the animals and stayed with them for the rest of the day, he also went around a bit to help the villagers set up.

When it came closer to night time Zane got a saddle on a horse and silently went out of town. He went up on the hill and the horse helped him. The horse was all black with a small white spot on its chest. The horses eyes were two different colors, green and blue. Zan sat down on the grass and the horse lay next to him.

A few hours later Zane got up with the help from the horse and got on the saddle. The horse walked slowly to make sure to not hurt Zane. They rode around the forest a bit because the forest was more magical and alive at night. The crystals would all shine and the bugs would help the moon create natural lighting. White foxes and animals all showed up in a certain area in the forest just to meet Zane because they all saw him fall and hurt himself and they knew he would visit the forest for the week.

Zan took the horse to the area in the forest and once the horse hit the moonlight in that area it turned all white with a tiny black spot on its chest and it’s eyes got brighter. Zane got off of the horse and limped over to the big oak tree with the help of the woodland creatures. He sat down, “hello my furry friends.” As the animals all lay down next to him and on him he giggled a little bit.

The horse went over to a deer who brought it some berries and they sheared. Zane loved the sight of his woodland friends and would always take care of them.

When morning drew nearer Zane got up on the horse and said bye to the woodland creatures. He went to the castle gates and waited for the princess.

When the sun got up I’m the sky and the bells rang he started to worry.
