Pagsisimula ng tropa (Part 2)

(Camping)

Ituloy na natin ang naudlot na drama namin nung Grade 6.....

Ok pagkatapos ng sportsfest, natigil na ang chismis/isyu nila Julius at Marielle. But another one was created when they were seen together buying camping needs. A week before our Camping trip.

The perpetrator took a photo as proof and showed it to anyone he knew at school. Nakarating yun kay Axel at pinakita niya rin saamin.

“Guys, please. Marielle doesn’t deserve this treatment. Anyone doesn’t deserve this kind of treatment. Kaya tigilan niyo na, I expect better from you Axel. Noone would’ve thought na ganyan ang ugali mo!”, lecture ni Maira.

“Oooohhhh, tangina yan. Napagsabihan nanaman si Axel!”, biro ni Evan.

“Wag mo na nga asarin, parang walang isip talaga ih.”, sabi ni Lilac.

“Uhmm, guys can you slow down a bit? Di namin maintindihan ni Ryan yung pinaguusapan niyo eh. All I heard was my name and Marielle’s. Is something wrong?”, tanong ni Julius.

“Walang problema Julius, tungkol lang sa Sportsfest. Kaya wag na kayo mag-alala.”, dinahilan ko na lang.

Things started to heat up when Ryan found out about it. A day before nung camping, kinonfront niya kami.

“Guys! What is the issue about my brother and Marielle from the next section? How stupid can you be? Especially the one that took that photo! That’s not what even happened!”, sugod ni Ryan na galit na galit.

What’s even worse sinama niya si Marielle.

“Oo nga wag kayo maniwala sa mga kwento kwento na yan!”, dagdag ni Marielle.

“Yeah, hindi naman kasi ako yung nasa picture eh.”, at sabi sa amin ni Julius.

“Wait si Ryan yung nasa pic?”, tanong ko na lang.

“Oh my god nakakahiya yun! What were they thinking spreading that kind of rumor! Grrr! How stupid can Axel be?!”, bulong niya sa kanyang sarili.

“Maira, they’re going to be fine kinonfront na sila nung mga biktima. Aamin at aamin din yung mga yun.”, balik ko sa kanya.

“You’re right. It’s just so wrong.”, sabi niya bago kami pumasok ng faculty.

Pagkapasok namin may mga teachers na naka-pulong.

“Maira, Michelle. Please take a seat.”, sabi ng Head Teacher.

Andaming pumasok sa isip ko, bakit toh nangyayari sa akin..... if I have one offense, my scholarship will be over.

The Teachers found out about the issue, the ones they caught blamed us.

“Class Rep. kayo... please, you’re putting the school name in jeopardy. Get your act together girls, don’t disappoint the people relying on you. I’m sorry but, you’ll be dismissed from camp....”,

“Ma’am d-don’t do this please.”, sabat ni Maira.

“Girls enough. It’s decided, I’m sorry.”, tuloy nito.

Pinalabas na kami ng faculty, di napigil ni Maira na umiyak. Niyakap niya ako para itago sa lahat ng dumadaan ang mga luha niya.

“Michelle, pasuntok naman si Axel para sakin oh.”, request niya sa akin.

“What ever you say, lakasan ko pa.”, balik ko na lamang sabay tawa.

“Balik na nga tayo, muka na kong tanga dito.”, biro ni Maira habang pinupunasan niya ang mga luha niya.

“Tara na susuntukin ko pa si Axel diba?”,balik ko at inalalayan siya papuntang room.

“Maira bakit ka umiiyak?”,tanong ni Lilac.

“Punyeta yun si Axel! Nasaan na yung gagong yon!”, sigaw ko sa room.

“Bakit ba... Michelle. Bakit umiiyak si Maira?”, gulat pang tanong nito.

Umamba ako ng suntok, pero pinigilan ni Julius.

“Tangina sinumbong mo yata kami eh! Bitawan mo nga ako Julius! Wag kang mangelam Conyo!”, sigaw ko kay Julius na tinulak ko palayo.

“Wala akong sinusumbong tanungin mo yung taga ibang section kung gusto mo talaga malaman! Wag mo kong sisisihin!”, nanginginig na balik niya.

“Kapag sinabi nilang ikaw, matutuluyan ka!”, sigaw ko sa kanya.

Pumunta ako ng ibang room pero di nila alam kung ano yung sinasabi ko. Wala akong ibang magawa kasi wala naman akong ibedensya kung maninisi ako. Bumalik na lang ako ng room ng maabutan ko si Marielle na naghihintay sa pinto.

“Marielle hindi ba kailangan niyo pang mag-prepare para sa troop niyo?”,tanong ko sa kanya.

Tiningnan niya ako ng masama, lumapit siya sa akin.

“Michelle pwede bang samahan mo ko.”, tanong bigla nito.

“Uhm, sige. Saan ba?”,balik ko naman.

Dinala niya ako sa garden namin at biglang bumulong.

“Pasensya na. Ako yung nagsumbong, wala na akong ibang magawa eh. Ikaw kasi yung gusto niya.”,

Natawa na lang ako sa sinabi niya.

“Wait! Sino bang sinasabi mo? Sakin may magkaakgusto? Seryoso ka ba?”, tanong ko sa kanya.

“Nung Sportsfest nag-confess ako sa kanya, pero sabi niya ikaw yung gusto niya. Kaya nag back out ako. Pero that was not enough. I needed something more. So I got payback.”, sabi na lang nito at biglang umalis.

Nanginig ang katawan ko sa takot, I told Ryan what happened and he believed me. He said she was just possessive, and it was just a phase. I agreed and let it go.

Not knowingly, Julius said something to the teachers to made them change their minds, and let Maira and I come along to camp. But we refused and told them we’d rather “reflect” on what we’ve done.

During their camping trip, I received consecutive pictures from the camp. I didn’t know who it was from because it was just a number.

Inisip ko sa sarili ko na mamaya si Lilac lang toh na nag change number. Pero si ano pala... si ano.... si Julius. I asked him how did he get my number and he replied that Lilac gave it to him.

I loved the pictures he kept sending me, and every one of it has a message that helped me get through the fact I was moving away. Hindi ko agad nasabi sa kanila pero para naman sa mas makakabuti yun diba? At finally naging successful na dina ng business ng mga parents ko!

Marielle apologized to me and I accepted it to finally end the feud that was pointless from the beginning.

Soon they found out when I told Lilac and Marielle, Grade 7 na din sila nun. Julius kept messaging me, and that made me happy. That’s the time I fell for him, I also told Lilac.

That’s when Ryan, Evan,and Axel started their streak of breaking girls hearts. They always were betting on who will get that girl.

Pamilyar diba? Oo ayan yung game na ginawa nila sa akin.

I got back on my hometown, in the Summer of 8th Grade, bago na kami mag Grade 9!! During that summer Evan and Lilac started dating, the twins also improved their Filipino. Marielle and Ryan also got closer then they fell.

A lot changed when I got back but Lilac made it comfortable for me to finally stay. I’m so lucky to have a friend like her, and lucky to have known everyone until now!!
