Chapter:2

I stayed there. watching him from distance. I was scared but at the same time, I was curious to see the face of my kidnapper.

I stood up.

"HEY" I yelled

the guy turned towards me. he looked surprised as same as me. I looked at him.

what do you want? why did you bring me here?" I shouted

he was still silent just staring at me.

"why?" I yelled

tears rolled down, I wiped my tears

"please leave me, my mom must be worried about me"

I broke down and wrapped my knees, I cried as loud as I can. I felt desperate knowing I was alone with a person who's unknown to me.

I heard his footsteps approaching me.

"don't cry," he said

I said nothing I just kept crying.

"I'm not a kidnapper," he said

I raised my head. we were so close I could almost feel his warm breath. he stepped backward.

"you're not?" I asked

"no" he cleared

"how did I come here then?" I asked

"I don't know," he said

I calm down and start thinking about the things I did before going to sleep.

"I fell asleep and when I woke up I was here, " I thought.

" dream," I said

"what?" he asked

" maybe it's a dream," I said ( felt relieved knowing there's a chance to be safe)

"how?" he sounds surprised

"When I was young I always had this kind of dream," I told him

" But I forgot how to escape from here" I murmured.

" Kathryn wake up" I shouted I pinched myself. did all possible' things to escape...I felt helpless.

"wake up" I cried

"it's okay," he said.

holds my hands to calm me down.

"if it's a dream, you'll be back to your real world when you'll wake up," he said

I calmed down myself because that's the last only option. I should wait for me to wake up.

"Okay," I said (sniffed) I felt like a child in front of him.

I calmed down. we sat on the sofa none of us said a word. I didn't know what I'm going to ask him. I just wanted to get out of here as soon as possible because as I spend more time it gets scarier to me.

"Kathryn"

I looked at him.

"your name... your name is Kathryn right?" he cleared

"Yes," I said

______silence again______

"your name?" I asked breaking the silence

"knight" he said.

it sounds so familiar like I have known someone named knight.

"Such a strange name," I thought

" your name doesn't suit you," I said

" I know" he smirked

" a friend of mine named me knight" he continued

why would anyone name someone as"knight" I thought.

I looked at him... carefully this time. he had that curious brown eyes and grey hair compliment him so much. pale-skinned, thin, tall, so much of my kind of man. his eyes were so mesmerizing, unavoidable... beautiful!

"Aah Kathryn, you're being weird," I said to myself

" you said something?" he asked

" no" I smiled (awkwardly)

"so, what do you do in the real world?" he asked,

" you mean job?" I asked

"yea" he nodded

" I don't have a job, I'm still studying," I said,

"How is your mom?"

I looked at him confused. he said as if he had known my mom for years.

"she is good" I answered,

"you know my mom?" I asked

he waits before answering.

" yes I do know your mom" he replied

"how?" curiosity raised

"I just know her because she wished for me "

"what? I didn't get it" I was confused

" so you're some kind of fairy godmother," I asked him curiously

" not a fairy godmother but something like that" he cleared.

I looked at him. I thought he must be lying but then I thought about how he would be in my dream. I believed him. no human can be named "knight ".

" Okay as you're my fairy godmother I wish to get out of here now," I said

" no, not a fairy godmother but some like that," he said. obviously, he was making fun of me.

" Okay, Mr.something like that, I would like to know how can I get out of here," I said loud

" It would take time," he said

"Aah... I'm bored" I said,

" so, what's is your age?" I ask him

"my age?"

"yep"

"I'm 300 years old," he said

"no, you don't look that old" I was surprised

" We don't get old " he cleared

"okay"

I kept quiet. wishing this to end soon.

" if you go back to your real world, would you forget me?" he asked and that sound so sad.

" no, I won't" I replied with a smile

" why?" he raised his eyebrows

" because you accompanied me in this lonely place" I smiled

I noticed him vanishing Little by little.

"what's going on?" I panicked

" it's time for me to go," he said and smiled

I like the way he smiled. he looked even good with the smile.

"wake up" I heard maiy's voice

I slowly opened my eyes. she was standing beside me. I was back and I feel so tired.

"wake up, Kathryn" maiy said. takes off the blanket.

"did you cry?" she asked

"no," I said rubbing my eyes.

" come down after you get fresh up," she said,

"what's the time?" I asked

"7 pm...you were sleeping like a dead body," she said

"mom is waiting downstairs" she continued

and went outside the room.

I rose from the bed, wore my slippers, and look at the mirror. seriously my eyes were swollen.

"it was a dream," I said to myself

I took out my journal and write down

"knight"

I promised him.

I promised to remember him.

I went downstairs. they already prepared for dinner. I sat down on the chair.

mom pour a glass of water for me.

"you cried?" (noticing my swollen eyes)

"looks like she had a nightmare," maiy said

"it is true?" mom asked looking at me

"yea, I had a nightmare" I replied

"Okay," she said and pours another glass of water for maiy. knowing I would never lie to her

"thank you for food," I said and starts eating.

it was the same dinner as usual but felt like I have never eaten for years. it tastes so good.
