chapter:3

After dinner.

"Mom, do you believe in fairies?" I asked

"What?" She was confused

"Like fairy godmother..." I said

" Do you believe in it?" She asked

" Fairies doesn't exist in real life" maiy interrupted

"I know," I said

" Then why would you ask such a silly question," maiy said loud

" I don't know why but ...." I didn't know how to say it. I sat down on the sofa feeling helpless.

Mom set beside me. Holds my hands.

" What's the matter? Kath .." she asked

I cleared my throat before speaking.

" I had a dream, there was a boy of my age. we talked, I knew was a dream but it felt so real" I said. my tears rolled down.

"then what's there to cry?" maiy yelled

" I don't know why I'm crying " I cried

I hugged my mom and started sobbing. I don't know why it felt so sad. she hugged me back and tried to calm me down.maiy sits behind me and rubbed my back.

"it's okay," she said and kissed my hair. I couldn't stop crying.

knock! knock! knock!

"come in," I said

it was maiy. she came and sits beside me. I kept my head down knowing what she was going to ask.

" Kathryn" she finally spoke

"Hmm," I said

" you can share anything, you know that right?"

"I know" still not looking at her.

"come on Kathryn!" she burst. I knew she was annoyed. she kneels in front of me.

I looked at her. her eyes were filled with tears.

" tell me what happened?" she asked

" nothing it was just a dream.. ...you don't have to worry about me," I said

"come on, Kathryn do you do really wanna do this?" she burst into anger. she stood up and

she stomped her feet on the floor showing her anger to me.

"Okay, if don't want to talk about it I'm going then," she said

"okay good night," I said (coldly)

she went outside and slammed the door behind her. I kept silent.

I turned off my cellphone kept it underneath my pillow. I lied down on the bed.

I know maiy is worried about me but I don't want to talk about it.

"Are you still not going to talk about it?!" maiy shouts from downstairs.

I said nothing. it was all silent now.

I closed my eyes knowing what would happen if I fell asleep.

I opened my eyes as dark as before. I took out my cellphone and went outside but this time there were no stairs. I look around, found the main switch. turned on the lights.

the House looked different from before.it looked more like a palace now.

and this time I wasn't afraid. I like it.

I look outside it was snowing but it's the month of June. I went outside no one was there. I walked on the street. I have never experienced snow before. in my place, it doesn't snow over there. I bend down and touched the so It was cold. I smiled and took off my slippers and walk on the snow. it felt so good...I was experiencing snow in June it was funny.

I built a snowman over there and named it bonnie. later when it started getting cold I went inside. and I get a blanket from the bedroom where I was sleeping before. and I lit the fire on the furnace. set there folding my legs and wrapped the blanket over me.

waiting...maybe. I looked at the door behind me hoping to see him again because I had lots of things to ask.

after a while there I felt hungry. I put my blanket down the walk to another room I guessed it was the kitchen. I pulled the fridge door, there was only some bread, eggs, and bacon. i took them all out and put in on the counter. I toast the bread and fried the eggs and bacon. and pour a glass of water. I went back to the room with the furnace. i placed the plate on the table nearby the furnace. i sat down and wrapped my blanket. took a bite of the bread, it wasn't that good. i took another bite

" eating alone?" I heard

I turned back. it was knight.

I ignored him and continue eating. he came and sat beside. I offered him the last piece of two bread.

"no, I'm not hungry," he said

"Okay," I said.

I placed eggs and bacon on the bread and sandwich it with other bread. I drank the water I poured before. I opened my mouth to have another bite of the bread. all of a sudden he hold my hand and took a bite of the bread.

"you said you were not hungry," I said loud

"But I'm hungry now" he smiled and took the bread from my hand and took another bite.

I just looked at him... annoyed.

I put down the glass and watched him enjoying the bread.

"where do you go? when I go back to my real world" I asked him after he finished eating.

"me? I go back to my home" he said,

"where is your home?" I asked

" here ! it's here in your dream" he replied,

" you live alone?"

" no, I stay with my friends," he said,

"they're like you?" I asked

" like me?" (confused)

" yea, a fairy godmother" I cleared

he laughed.

" fairy godmother?" he laughed so hard. ( I don't know what was so funny with that)

I looked at him... annoyed. he noticed my expression. and stopped laughing

"I'm sorry... yea, they're like me too," he said.

I looked at him closely...he looked at me. my heart was pounding so hard." Kathryn you're being weird" I said to myself but still couldn't stop myself.I was mesmerized by his eyes. this feeling is something that I felt before. knight is unknown to me but still feels likes I have known him for many years...
